We were very happy with the top notch service given by the staff at Murdock of Logan. Our sales person was great, not pretentious, very informative and very willing to get answers to our questions. We had an unusual trade situation and were very happy with the outcome. We had to return to the dealership after the week-end and Zach went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Both Koddy and Zach were very personable and easy to talk to. Koddy went out of his way when we came back the next day. We are thrilled with our new Santa Fe, We had We are thrilled with our new Santa Fe, We had purchased a 2008 Santa Fe less than a year ago, when I took it in to have a recall serviced, I men We are thrilled with our new Santa Fe, We had purchased a 2008 Santa Fe less than a year ago, when I took it in to have a recall serviced, I mentioned to the dealership, we weren't to happy with this car, Keith ask a few questions like what would we change and what we would look for in a newer one, Then Shazame!!...He went to work and called us all excited , we made an appointment and went in to see him the next day. There it was, he had found the one we talked about, the right color, three years newer, only a few miles, bigger motor and said the gas mileage would be better, all this and still kept the payment close to what we had budgeted with our last purchase. We left the old Santa Fe and drove our new one home... Unbeiveable... My husband even likes this one.. the gas mileage as been great almost 30 miles to a gallon and it looks and even smells new.. Brock was Wonderful, we were walking around looking at cars, and he just asked us a few questions, and then took us over to a car and my mom fell in love with it almost instantly, we went for the test dri cars, and he just asked us a few questions, and then took us over to a car and my mom fell in love with it almost instantly, we went for the test drive and saw all the wonderful updates that was in that car, then we sat down to talk about prices and my mom wanted to trade her car in for 2 cars. A newer smaller one for her and one for me, since my truck had broken earlier that morning, and she and Brock went for a drive in her car so he could see what that was like, and I walked around with one of my sons and was looking at other cars, The first car I walked to, we couldn't get the trunk open with the buttons so we skipped it and was looking at others, but I still liked that first car. When Brock came back we went out and looked at some cars and the first car he went to was that one that the trunk was not opening. He said no problem and got that car charged up. And it worked great and I fell in love with it. He was so polite and understanding and listened really well. We bought both cars that day, and have been in to get the car washes. We love these cars and have been telling everyone what great service we have experienced. Thanks so much Brock!!! More

As I think about the typical car-buying experience, I can't help but reflect on the classic movie "The Princess Bride". Specifically the riveting scene in the "Pit of Despair" when the hero Wesley is st can't help but reflect on the classic movie "The Princess Bride". Specifically the riveting scene in the "Pit of Despair" when the hero Wesley is strapped to the torture device known simply as the "Machine". In a fit of jealous rage, the evil Prince cranks the lever up to its highest setting, thereby inflicting writhing electrical pain, xxxxxxx several years from Wesley's life and leaving him for dead. Having bought many cars in my life, including several new ones, I often drove off the lot feeling years have literally been sucked from my life. After a few days I not only didn't care to see the sales staff again, I would probably have taken active efforts to avoid them if I ran into them in town. While the "Pit of Despair" analogy may be slightly dramatic, I have purchased vehicles from at least seven (7) dealerships - none of whom got repeat business from me for my latest car. To me that is a sad commentary on the industry. (In defense of one new car dealership I would return to, they did not have the make of car I was interested in). I guess I have set the bar pretty low with the above analogy, but I did have a great experience with Murdock Hyundai. The sales staff was great to work with and made it clear they were with us for the long haul - service, repairs, etc. Nathan and John worked with us directly and are assets to the organization. I would not hesitate referring people to Murdock Hyundai and have already told several people about our positive experience. The only category I did not rate as a "5" was price. Perhaps it is a deficiency on my part, but penetrating the cloudy veil shrouding new car prices still seems a bit of a mystery. Thank you for an excellent overall experience. More
