APril 17--Purchased a CX5 from Naples Mazda, they charge 3% if you are using credit card for downpayment which I wasn't noticed during negotiation. Negotiated and finally we agreet to split the 3%. They didn't credit it back at time of purchase, but they gave me a writing that they will cut me a check for the refund before I left the dealer. May 14--After 3 weeks, the check didn't show up, after numerous call and voicemail to Shawn at Finance Dept, no phone call was returned. I have to get another guy Lou in Finance to get his attention. Shawn emailed me the screen shot of the check and told me I will have it anyday. May 27, after two weeks of waiting, I called and email then I was told they cannot issued the refund. Instead they will give me two free oil change that can be used nationwide. So I have been waiting for two weeks for nothing. The same day I called their upper management and I was told the check will be mailed. June 4, after waiting for another week, nothing showed up, not the check, not the oil change. I think we can assume those are all empty promises. After waiting for 7 weeks I have nothing. Piece of advice: do not leave anything unfinished before you walk out the door, whatever they promised they will not honor or follow through. When you call them they will not return call despite the fact several voicemail or message were left. Buy it at your own risk or avoid them if you can. Make sure you have the expectation their promise will not be fulfilled. More

Long wait (my car sat for 20 min before anyone even took it back for the oil change), but the person I worked with was great. The staff from top to bottom was 5 star! Phil, Loo and Bashar were great. Extremely friendly and not the pushy sales type that you get at other stores.
