Proceed with caution. I recently bought a Honda CRV from Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I was less than pleased with their customer service. We got I recently bought a Honda CRV from Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I was less than pleased with their customer service. We got the bait and switch. The car was listed online as Napleton Price + DOC fees + Filing Fee = Total Sales Price. When we got there, they started with the Total Sales Price and then added the DOC Fees & Filing Fees on again. We noticed the error and were told that the online price was a mistake. They did fix it after WE noticed it. When we talked about pricing, we were told that it is against company policy to negotiate. We didn't like the price that we were finally offered so we walked. We received a call about 3 minutes later knocking hundreds off the price, so ultimately, they did negotiate. Even small things like the detailing were misspoken about. We had discussions about the backseat and the salesman said they take out the seats and detail underneath. A week after the purchase, we put the backseats up and they hadn't even been vacuumed underneath. When I called the GM of the dealership regarding the Check Engine light coming on 50 miles after purchase, I had a simple question, "Were there any codes that were shown when a scan was done on the vehicle?" Their reply was, "You had an independent mechanic inspect it." I understood that, but I wanted to know if they had done a scan and if anything had shown up since nothing showed up for my mechanic. I was met with yelling from the GM, “Are you questioning my integrity? I’m going to stop you right there!” and dismissing it because it’s an older vehicle. When I followed up later with the GM after talking to my mechanic, his response was that my mechanic could "see him in court". I understand that I bought the car "as-is", but I have never been yelled at or met with such extreme resistance just for asking a basic question. Calls are recorded for quality assurance, so I encourage higher management to listen to the recordings. Ultimately, we are happy with the car, but I'm sure there are other dealerships that would treat you a bit more honestly and respectfully More
