Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 74 franchises in seven states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

Great Experience, Seriously Buy here. First off this is our second Accent we bought one in 2012. We loved it, we put a lot of miles on it and were ready for a new one. Napleton's was great First off this is our second Accent we bought one in 2012. We loved it, we put a lot of miles on it and were ready for a new one. Napleton's was great to us our salesman Juan knew our car old and new well and gave us the difference's but it was an easy sell as we loved our our old Accent But he treated us with nothing but kindness and respect and not a dollar like elsewhere. Chuck and Dennis were wonderful too during the salevas well as when we had questions after the fact. They made us feel welcome and made time for us. We did have one snag with the car the battery was defective and failed the test (we purchased with 10 miles on the car and two weeks later experienced power issues) but service apologized and replaced it immediately. We feel that Napleton's as well as Hyundai has won a long time customer, they were welcoming, not uncomfortably aggressive, fair and helpful. We had a wonderful experience with our old Accent I'm sure the battery was just a fluke. (Our old cars battery lasted almost 5yrs, so well we forgot that it needs to be replaced!) We just want you to know that we are very happy with our new car and Napleton's. We purchased a few vehicles together and this a probably the first time really where we felt like valuable customers and not just a buck. More

First time Hyundai buyer Good experience. Mike Gaddy and Charles were very helpful and friendly. Had to return after delivery because the lug nut key was missing. Not sure who Good experience. Car Experience Salesman Guliano was great! Very informative and professional, however it took us almost 2 hrs with finance dept. Lady in finance was new to program a Salesman Guliano was great! Very informative and professional, however it took us almost 2 hrs with finance dept. Lady in finance was new to program and kept messing up our sales papers. Left dealer satisfied with the car and the service we received from Guliano (sales person) but exhausted from the lengthy time we unnecessary had to spend with finance dept. Also unhappy I didn't have my 2 keys as promised by dealer and the fact that I have to return to dealer to get car programmed for 2nd key. Recommend Guliano not the dealer. More
