Sad first car purchase experience I personally own a certified 2013 Subaru Legacy purchased at another dealer and have been very satisfied with it. I know how reliable a Subaru can be if taken proper care of, so when my girlfriend got her driver's license and has reached the step of buying a car, I said Subaru without a hesitation. Anyway, one month ago we visited Nate Wade Subaru, and purchased a certified 2012 Impreza due to its relatively low price. When negotiating, they said they can take away the "certified stamp" and give us $500 off - we accepted the trick because our salesman Lane tole me that the car has gone through all the inspections required for Subaru certification. THAT'S JUST A STUPID LIE. Besides that, Lane showed no interest for selling the car to us because even when we said we are ready to buy it, he put us waiting for 20 minutes and talked to someone else who searched for a car. Anyway, we bought the car as the first car for my girlfriend. Right in the afternoon of the first day we bought the car, the air bag system failed - it turns off occasionally both on passenger and driver's side. We went back to Nate Wade and was told by a sales manager to come ANYTIME another day to get the problem fixed. Two days later we went in and hoped to get someone to fix the air bag system, but was told that we have to make an appointment to get service - even though I explained what their sales manager told me. They don't really care if their customer have to drive in a dangerous car and the appointment was made for 3 days later. Alright! 3 days later we went in again and gave them the car and saying to ourselves that finally the problem will be gone and we no longer have to drive in a car without air bag... but we were wrong! They said they scanned the computer and CANNOT FIND A PROBLEM. "Either the problem is gone or we cannot detect it." said a service guy. Problem unsolved and we had to leave. When we went there to get our license plate on, I told our sales man Lane about the problem. He said "oh it's weird." then not mention a word anymore - simply put on the license plate and went away. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT IT AT ALL. Now it has been over 1 month and the air bag system still fails now and then. Anyone wants to see a pic of the air bag system fail can shoot me message. Conclusion: 1. They mark cars that HAS NOT gone through the inspection process as "certified" online for sale; 2. They put cars with essential problems on lot for sale; 3. They CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM and WILL NOT SHOW ANY CARE FOR THE SAFETY OF THEIR CUSTOMER; 4. The sales man Lane lied to his customer as the cars has been inspected; 5. They fake Carfax reports. One month after we bought the car, they reported to Carfax that our Impreza has gone through the 48000 mile major maintenance at their place, which has NEVER HAPPENED - we haven't taken the car to do ANY maintenance yet. How do I know they faked the report? Because I can check the carfax anytime I want. I will report this to Carfax later on. I'm writing this comment because they put a shame on Subaru and my girlfriend was sad to know her first car has such big problem. If they think they can play tricks, lie to their customers, make fake reports and their customer will keep silent, then they have chosen the wrong person. More

Gentry made it an.awesome experience! I was looking for an Impreza. I started off at Mark Miller Subaru and didn't have a good experience. They couldnt find the advertised car and changed I was looking for an Impreza. I started off at Mark Miller Subaru and didn't have a good experience. They couldnt find the advertised car and changed the interest rate I was quoted. I found the perfect car at Nate Wade and emailed about it. Gentry emailed me back and when I came in he had the car ready to go. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and the perfect balance of efficient and patient. He showed.me all the features of the car and answered all my questions. The only negative part was their computers went down and they were busy so I had to wait almost an hour to see Steve the finance guy. Gentry kept me updated on the time frame and checked in on me. Steve told me I was approved for the 1.9 financing but I had to come back.the next day to finalize the paperwork since the banks were closed. That didn't feel quite right but the next day everything went through as promised. Overall I was very impressed with.the experience and have already recommended Nate Wade Subaru to my mom who will be buying a car later this month. More
No Hassle Buying My husband's car was totaled in a 5 car accident, and we needed a new car fast. I knew he wanted a Manual Subaru, and an Impreza was his dream. Since we were already locked in to building a house, we needed to keep the price at a minimum. Nate Wade had a great price on a 2012 Impreza. I asked for more info, and Gentry responded quickly. He had the car waiting for us when we got to the lot, and was a great salesman to deal with. Very nice, and made sure we got the best deal possible. I am very impressed with the level of professionalism he keeps, while still being a fun and easy guy to talk to. More

When we showed up the next day, we met Gentry for looking at and test driving the Outback. He was informative, kind, honest, and helpful in every way. All questions were answered, and there was no pressure or up-selling. I was given all the time I needed to try out the car and really make sure that we were making the right decision. I highly recommend Gentry and all of the staff that we encountered at this location. Fred in finance was a gem as well. He got us the warranty coverage that we needed. Nate Wade defies any popular negative stereotypes of carl dealers and salespeople. More
