The service writers are very warm, understanding, and reliable in providing me with an approximate cost for the needed work and the time required. Nemer Ford is roughly 4 hours from my house and since meeting Jim Sears, I will go to no other dealer! Jim has been an honest, up front sales man since I first met him. I stopped by Nemer Ford just looking at cars, because I was in need of a new car. I was only at the beginning of my searching experience as a first time buyer. I have used Nemer Ford to Service my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid for nearly 3 years. I commute between the Adirondacks and southern California an average of 2 times per year and trust Nemer over any other d Hybrid for nearly 3 years. I commute between the Adirondacks and southern California an average of 2 times per year and trust Nemer over any other dealer to keep my Hybrid Escape in shape. I have around 76,000 miles on the vehicle (mostly highway). Nemer Ford has a wonderful and very competent service department. I feel that I can trust them with my vehicle and I am always treated with the greatest courtesy and friendliness. I predominantly deal with Larry as my service representative and he is great. I will not trust my vehicle to Capistrano Ford in Southern California because I found them to be expensive, and dishonest. Larry and Nemer are the exact opposite. Prices are fair and work has always been very competent and I feel that they are always to be trusted. I try to make sure that my Hybrid Escape is taken care of by Nemer before I head back to California to avoid having to deal with Capistrano Ford. Nemer deserves more recognition and I recommend them to everyone who has a Ford product. More
I contacted Nemer regarding buying a mini van. I have less than perfect credit and I am upside down in my current vehicle loan. They agreed to look at my situation. At that time I did not have a co-signer, I still do not, however, if in the future I either fix my credit or come up with a cosigner I know I can go back to them and they will continue to be friendly and honest and contact me in a timely manner. I went in to purchase a used car, as the car I had needed too much work and I didn't have the finances to do it. I got this car and the warranty ran out after 1mo. I then I heard a noise that got even louder during the course of the next 3 mo; Randy Wall called for a courtesy call. I told him about the noise. He got service to repair it at no cost to me after some doings. This was GREATLY appreciated as I'm on some public assistance! I also feel I got good deal on the car I purchased. Randy did WELL w/getting the deal I needed to get to fit my budget! I LOVE your Follow up calls and feel they're important! Should this tell you anything? I purchased my 1st standard vehicle from you, a Ford Fiesta, in the latter 70's or early 80's? The sales person taught me how to drive it in YOUR parking lot!!! It did hold up to having over 200,000 miles on it the last I remember! I've hit other dealerships in the past, as many individuals do; but this time in my life, being on public assistances, I Needed to get the "deal of my life," and Knew YOUR dealership wouldn't "screw me over." I Know I can trust you! And this time, I ONLY went to YOU w/o even researching other dealerships for possible deals. As w/any dealership, I've heard complaints about you from people along the way. Waited 30 minutes in person to get parts ordered that had been identified (correctly) over the phone previously... Wendy could not properly located them. In another instance attempted to get a price for an item over the phone and was told it could not be done without the VIN... Don told me he would not even try to look it up (I did not ask him to order anything, just for a price) and then hung up the phone when I told him to try. I then called another Ford dealer who had no problem giving me a price on the correct part, over the phone and without the VIN! It left me so irritated that I will no longer use the Nemer Ford parts department, despite its convenience for me. More
