We were on a road trip to the area in Summer 2009 and we had a rear brake failure on our Avalon. I searched the yellow pages, called this dealership, and their service department took us right in. We live quite a distance from this dealership but happened to be in Saratoga Springs on a camping vacation when we decided to stop in to inquire about a new Tundra. Erik Duffy, who greeted us with a smile, was outstanding. He answered all our questions that day about towing capacities and tongue weight and followed up with us with additional information when he didn't have the exact answer we needed. We had many, many more conversations with Erik via phone and email and he was always pleasant and willing to work with us. We also had a dealership closer to home that we contacted, and the salesperson made it seem as if we were an inconvenience to him. Just the opposite of Erik and New Country of Saratoga Springs. We actually looked at three different models of the Tundra truck and Erik advised and worked with us to find out what we really wanted and to give us the most for the money we wanted to pay. It truly was a pleasure doing business with Erik and definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour trip! We will definitely purchase from this dealership in the future and especially with Erik as the salesperson! Whoever thought that buying a car/truck could be a pleasant experience! More
Wow! Thought purchasing a new "used" truck would be difficult. Not here! Salesman Peter Semon was fantastic! Peter thoroughly explained which models and features would work best for my lifestyle. Plus with a much appreciated "customer first" attitude, my test drive felt like I was cruising with a friend. Thanks Pete! Once Peter Semon sold me on my 2007 4 Door, Long bed, Midnight Black,V6, TRD Sport, Tacoma... A seamless transition brought me to Mr. David Prehoda's office to talk numbers. Realizing this was the point of no return, now its time to get nervous. Right? Absolutely NOT! Mr. Prehoda was exactly what I needed when I talk numbers. He perfectly explained everything to me including important warranty information, payment options, as well as insurance benefits. Again, with such a knowledgeable professional, pointing me in the right direction, I was completely at ease throughout this whole buying experience. As long as Peter Semon and David Prehoda are with the New Country family, I will make sure to advise, refer, and strongly suggest all my friends and family go pay them a visit. With these guys out there, is there a reason to go anywhere else? Absolutely NOT! More
We went to our local Toyota dealer in Johnstown NY, as we had seen a 2009 Barcelona red Venza and liked the looks, it was close to 5 on a Saturday and other than the test ride they had no interest in talking had seen a 2009 Barcelona red Venza and liked the looks, it was close to 5 on a Saturday and other than the test ride they had no interest in talking to us. Monday morning I went to the dealership with my wife’s 2009 Malibu 2LT, with 10100, miles on it to talk deal. First of all they appraised the Malibu, offering basically wholesale for it and not offering any reduction in the used Venza, although it only had 7800, miles on it. At no time did they offer or inquire as to try any other type of sale. The more I thought about it the more incensed I got, so on Tuesday morning I went on line and queried several dealers looking at a new 2011. The first dealership to respond in less than 10 minutes was New Country Toyota of Saratoga Springs, Internet Manager Erik Duffy, I eventually got info and as I had done the self-appraisal on line he came in exactly where I wanted to be for the cost, without ever seeing the car. On the next Saturday one week after seeing the first Venza we picked up our or should I say my wife’s new Venza from Erik Duffy at New Country of Saratoga. They were great as far as the Sales department and Michael the Sales manager met us at the door, seemed to be a great guy also. The deal didn’t end there my wife wanted remote start installed in her Venza, and again Erik was right there to assist us. I have seen some negative reviews for this dealer ship, but our experience was great and I am in negotiations right now on a Rav 4, for myself, and of course with Erik. In three years we will also return to them for our next Venza when this lease runs out. More

We called the salesman to confirm everything and then we bid and won. It took almost a month and several calls to New Country before the van was ready for delivery. Then, the salesman missed our first scheduled delivery when he got into work late after partying the night before. When the van was finally delivered it was dirty inside and out, it smelled bad, it was missing items like headsets for the rear DVD and it didn't have two options I was looking forward to having, namely HID headlights and the Dynamic Laser Cruise Control. When I tried to contact New Country to fix these issues, no one would talk to us. We tried first with our salesman then the sales manager and neither returned our messages. When all else failed, we wrote a letter to the owner asking for his help but we didn't get a response from him either. Everybody makes mistakes and we can forgive a lot if an honest effort is made to make up for those mistake. Ignoring us instead of dealing with the mistakes is very unprofessional, especially for a Toyota dealer, and has made this one of the worst buying experiences we've ever had. More
