New Motors started as a gas station in 1927 in Hartstown, PA as a gas and service station with Vincent New as proprietor. He later grew to selling Chevrolets and pre-owned farm equipment.
As times changed in the automotive industry, the Chevrolet sales were eliminated and replaced with a used car outlet and Volvo's acquisition in 1963 followed by Saab and Fiat. His 2 sons, Larry and Gary, began working in their father's garage in the early 60's.
The New brothers quickly learned that hard work and good service would earn a customer for life. It was this work ethic that influenced Larry and Gary to develop the company's mission statement:
"To ensure that you remain our customer for life we are committed to exceed your expectations---Period!"
Every employee from the original 3, to the current 95, practices the mission statement, striving for customer satisfaction.
The decision was made to move the dealership to Erie, PA as an exclusive Volvo dealer in 1971. The 8,000 square foot building was built on 3 acres of land. Vincent New passed away just 3 short months after the completion of the New dealership. He did not get to see the expansion to 80 acres with facilities combining 42,500 square feet of work space with 2 showrooms housing the current used department and 3 franchises (Subaru, Volkswagen, and BMW).
New Motors is now the top parts wholesaler in PA, Ohio, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company has earned the dealer of excellence and Stellar Performers Certification from Subaru for their drive in outstanding customer Satisfaction.

Keith was absolutely amazing to work with. 10 stars in my book. He took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and even had the car seat cover/pet protection we ordered installed a 10 stars in my book. He took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and even had the car seat cover/pet protection we ordered installed and ready to go when we arrived to pick up our new Forester Hybrid. The dealership was never pushy or tried to push us to look at a different car when the one we wanted was not in stock. They found one for us at another location and had it shipped to their location for us to pick up and honored the price quote even though the shipped car had several additional features on the invoice. We are now a 6 Subaru family, 3 of which have come from Keith at New Motors Subaru. Additionally they honored me as a Veteran and gave me the Veterans discount. Keep up the amazing work!! More

Hats off to Eric White. I bought a new 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL-R Line Turbo from Eric. I had to wait a month, but he got me the color I wanted. I traded my Cadillac for t I bought a new 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL-R Line Turbo from Eric. I had to wait a month, but he got me the color I wanted. I traded my Cadillac for the Tiguan. It has all options that the Cadillac had, but the Tiguan was much less than buying another Cadillac. The New Motors Volkswagen Dealership is awesome. The building is spotless and the service waiting area for your car is a sight to behold. Once again Thanks Eric White, and all the other personal at the Dealership for a wonderful experience. More
