New Motors started as a gas station in 1927 in Hartstown, PA as a gas and service station with Vincent New as proprietor. He later grew to selling Chevrolets and pre-owned farm equipment.
As times changed in the automotive industry, the Chevrolet sales were eliminated and replaced with a used car outlet and Volvo's acquisition in 1963 followed by Saab and Fiat. His 2 sons, Larry and Gary, began working in their father's garage in the early 60's.
The New brothers quickly learned that hard work and good service would earn a customer for life. It was this work ethic that influenced Larry and Gary to develop the company's mission statement:
"To ensure that you remain our customer for life we are committed to exceed your expectations---Period!"
Every employee from the original 3, to the current 95, practices the mission statement, striving for customer satisfaction.
The decision was made to move the dealership to Erie, PA as an exclusive Volvo dealer in 1971. The 8,000 square foot building was built on 3 acres of land. Vincent New passed away just 3 short months after the completion of the New dealership. He did not get to see the expansion to 80 acres with facilities combining 42,500 square feet of work space with 2 showrooms housing the current used department and 3 franchises (Subaru, Volkswagen, and BMW).
New Motors is now the top parts wholesaler in PA, Ohio, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company has earned the dealer of excellence and Stellar Performers Certification from Subaru for their drive in outstanding customer Satisfaction.

However when I asked Kyle what kind of deal we could get if I included my Honda CR-V for 2 Foresters, he immediately did the figuring & produced a fair price. Kyle was very professional & patient with the 2 of us. He explained everything in detail about all the options offered. He took us out on the road twice to get use to all the car functions. We could not ask for a more knowledgeable courteous salesman. If we, run into anyone looking to purchase a new Subaru, we certainly will suggest New Motors & our favorite guy Kyle. More

He walked me through all the features on every car he showed and was very knowledgeable about each feature. purchase of used 2013 outback "like brand new" I was very glad that I met Steve Dillion who noted my thoughts in what I was looking for in a good used low mileage trade in. He knew of a trade coming in and kept me informed. Although, we waited for about an hour until the vehicle was finished with detailing, I was very glad to find out that inspection had been done and the tires were new. Steve was patient, friendly and answered all my questions. I also like the fact that PA state inspection fee will be covered. I will probably need another crash course instruction on the bluetooth setup of phone numbers. It was great to deal local too. Appreciated very much the help that Steve called my insurance to have the updated info faxed in the next day when I brought my title in on the car I was trading in. Nicole was very outgoing and great at explaining extented warranties and all the paperwork to be signed. Made it easy and pleasant. More
