New Motors started as a gas station in 1927 in Hartstown, PA as a gas and service station with Vincent New as proprietor. He later grew to selling Chevrolets and pre-owned farm equipment.
As times changed in the automotive industry, the Chevrolet sales were eliminated and replaced with a used car outlet and Volvo's acquisition in 1963 followed by Saab and Fiat. His 2 sons, Larry and Gary, began working in their father's garage in the early 60's.
The New brothers quickly learned that hard work and good service would earn a customer for life. It was this work ethic that influenced Larry and Gary to develop the company's mission statement:
"To ensure that you remain our customer for life we are committed to exceed your expectations---Period!"
Every employee from the original 3, to the current 95, practices the mission statement, striving for customer satisfaction.
The decision was made to move the dealership to Erie, PA as an exclusive Volvo dealer in 1971. The 8,000 square foot building was built on 3 acres of land. Vincent New passed away just 3 short months after the completion of the New dealership. He did not get to see the expansion to 80 acres with facilities combining 42,500 square feet of work space with 2 showrooms housing the current used department and 3 franchises (Subaru, Volkswagen, and BMW).
New Motors is now the top parts wholesaler in PA, Ohio, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company has earned the dealer of excellence and Stellar Performers Certification from Subaru for their drive in outstanding customer Satisfaction.

Professional, Honest and Fair Enjoyed my car buying experience at New Motors. Picked up my 2015 Subaru WRX last week. Lexus to BMW I shopped for a month test driving cars. Had a beautiful Lexus Is250 convertible, but going to cleveland for service was a hassle. They will pick up your car but put a lot of miles going back and forth. Tried the Audi...sales was not impressive and the car drove very stiff and soft top was loud. Tried the Mercedes, beautiful car but dealership was not impressed with didn't like how the car handled in the road ...very stiff Loved BMW dealership. Sales was extremely knowledgeable and friendly love the service package...cannot be beat and love the way my car handles. Waited a month while car was on order and they loaned me a brand new 5 series to drive while I waitd for my new car... Car arrived the 22nd of December what an awesome xmas surprise. Couldn't be happier no regrets switching from Lexus More

Incredible experience for someone who hates to shop!!!!! I came in to get a Volkswagen Jetta with one hour left before they closed. Steve Quinn from the BMW side was asked to help me. I was asked what I want I came in to get a Volkswagen Jetta with one hour left before they closed. Steve Quinn from the BMW side was asked to help me. I was asked what I wanted and when I told Steve what a single mother with 2 teenage kids could afford, Steve made it happen. I had never leased a car before and wasn't sure if it was the right decision. Steve explained everything in detail and made the process quick and easy. Even though he sells BMW's, he answered all my questions about the Jetta and if he wasn't as familiar with something, he found out right away. Steve was very personable and I would recommend him to everyone. You won't end up second guessing your decision. More
