New Motors started as a gas station in 1927 in Hartstown, PA as a gas and service station with Vincent New as proprietor. He later grew to selling Chevrolets and pre-owned farm equipment.
As times changed in the automotive industry, the Chevrolet sales were eliminated and replaced with a used car outlet and Volvo's acquisition in 1963 followed by Saab and Fiat. His 2 sons, Larry and Gary, began working in their father's garage in the early 60's.
The New brothers quickly learned that hard work and good service would earn a customer for life. It was this work ethic that influenced Larry and Gary to develop the company's mission statement:
"To ensure that you remain our customer for life we are committed to exceed your expectations---Period!"
Every employee from the original 3, to the current 95, practices the mission statement, striving for customer satisfaction.
The decision was made to move the dealership to Erie, PA as an exclusive Volvo dealer in 1971. The 8,000 square foot building was built on 3 acres of land. Vincent New passed away just 3 short months after the completion of the New dealership. He did not get to see the expansion to 80 acres with facilities combining 42,500 square feet of work space with 2 showrooms housing the current used department and 3 franchises (Subaru, Volkswagen, and BMW).
New Motors is now the top parts wholesaler in PA, Ohio, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company has earned the dealer of excellence and Stellar Performers Certification from Subaru for their drive in outstanding customer Satisfaction.

Andrew was friendly, helpful, and well versed in the product. He followed through with all promises, and was a pleasure to work with. After buying our new Kia Optima Ex, Andrew went above & beyond when product. He followed through with all promises, and was a pleasure to work with. After buying our new Kia Optima Ex, Andrew went above & beyond when he showed us how everything on the dash & stering wheel features worked as well as all other features of the car. He even set up my phone for the bluetooth in about 5 minutes. Something that would have taken me all day to do. If I were to rate him on a scale of 1-10, I'd give him a 20. Mr Yingling the finance manager was also a pleasure to work with. He made the financing a breeze. I never knew buying a car could be such a pleasant experience. I have a friend who I would hate to deal with if I sold cars, and he loves this auto group, and has purchased several vw's. I would definately buy another car from this dealer, and will highly recommend to friends. As a matter of fact I already gave someone a copy of your business card. I LOVE my new KIA!!! It was wonderful working with Carol. She was uplifting, cheerful and a delight to work with. Mentioned that I would just like a car with the basics and not all the extras that would be able to get me into cheerful and a delight to work with. Just happened to have a Forester on the lot which the interior had not been stain treated. (benefical becasue of allergies). Carol went on a Test drive with us explaining all the details of the car. Drove off with new car and have been very pleased with it. Also know becasue of my allergies that new Motors takes extra cautions when working with cars. More

We were there twice to look at cars. We were very pleased with both salesman we talked to. We expected to see Shane when we got there the second time but he had been called out. BOTH SALES PEOPLE WERE WELL INFORMED AND FRIENDLY. THIS IS THE FOURTH JETTA I PURCHASED FROM NEW AND FEEL I COULD NOT HAVE DONE BETTER ANYWHERE ELSE.
