New Motors started as a gas station in 1927 in Hartstown, PA as a gas and service station with Vincent New as proprietor. He later grew to selling Chevrolets and pre-owned farm equipment.
As times changed in the automotive industry, the Chevrolet sales were eliminated and replaced with a used car outlet and Volvo's acquisition in 1963 followed by Saab and Fiat. His 2 sons, Larry and Gary, began working in their father's garage in the early 60's.
The New brothers quickly learned that hard work and good service would earn a customer for life. It was this work ethic that influenced Larry and Gary to develop the company's mission statement:
"To ensure that you remain our customer for life we are committed to exceed your expectations---Period!"
Every employee from the original 3, to the current 95, practices the mission statement, striving for customer satisfaction.
The decision was made to move the dealership to Erie, PA as an exclusive Volvo dealer in 1971. The 8,000 square foot building was built on 3 acres of land. Vincent New passed away just 3 short months after the completion of the New dealership. He did not get to see the expansion to 80 acres with facilities combining 42,500 square feet of work space with 2 showrooms housing the current used department and 3 franchises (Subaru, Volkswagen, and BMW).
New Motors is now the top parts wholesaler in PA, Ohio, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company has earned the dealer of excellence and Stellar Performers Certification from Subaru for their drive in outstanding customer Satisfaction.

We had a great experience with this dealer. Andrew Vollant, our saleman, made sure we were getting what we wanted in our vehicle and was just a down to earth, stand up guy. I liked the friendliness that I received from Mindy. She greeted my husband the first time he came on the lot when he was alone and then the day I stopped in she came right out to meet me. Also I would have liked a little bit better price on my new EOS, however it was a 2012 and there wasn't any rebates or movement with the price. Over all experience was great...Thanks. More

My husband was the one who dealt with Andrew about all the particulars, and the price, but when we went to sign the papers, the price was different. my husband was not very happy. However we did get the v the particulars, and the price, but when we went to sign the papers, the price was different. my husband was not very happy. However we did get the van , and it seems to be handleing very well for my daughter. But it would be nice if something could be done about the price, maybe some kind of compensation. We have in the past dealt with Hyundia and have had no problems with the price or service. thank you for your time, karen More

Had e-mailed Carol Bianchi(she was recommended by a relative) expressing my interest in an Impreza Outback Sport. Your website indicated none in stock. After several weeks, she phoned me to politely relative) expressing my interest in an Impreza Outback Sport. Your website indicated none in stock. After several weeks, she phoned me to politely state that, due to the Japanese tragedy, they were not sure if and when they would receive that model. New Motors just received 6 specially-equipped Impreza Premium vehicles, and she professionally explained the difference between the two models. I decided to look at and test drive the 2.5i Premium model, and couldn't have been more impressed. Carol called me on a Friday, I test drove it the next Tuesday, placed a refundable deposit down on Wednesday, and purchased and drove it home the following Friday. At that time (within one week), there was only one of the 6 vehicles left on the lot. My vehicle priority was all-wheel for our snowy climate --- gives me rare cause to look forward to next winter. It was wonderful to work with Carol. I will not hesitate to recommend her, the vehicle, and the dealership to family and friends. More
