When shopping for a vehicle, due to my vehicle being totaled, I did some work prior to going to the dealership. I got preapproved through my credit union and had a contact person lined up. When I visit totaled, I did some work prior to going to the dealership. I got preapproved through my credit union and had a contact person lined up. When I visited this dealership and test drove a vehicle, everything was great. I explained that I have been preapproved and that there is no need to pull my credit report. I am trying to increase my credit score and I do not need unnecessary inquiries. The salesman said he understood and that would be fine. They even offered to do the paperwork electronically and deliver the vehicle to me. Thats when the problems started. I contacted the salesman and said that we were interested in purchasing the vehicle. We communicated through text at this point. I asked to be emailed the offer that we had agreed on. The numbers were okay so I agreed. The salesman then asked for my drivers license and insurance. I sent him the info. He then called me and asked me to fill out a credit app online. He also wanted me to send a photo of the front and back of my charge card front and back (which I did not!!)**RED FLAG** I reminded him that I did not want my credit pulled. He said that they would not. That they needed the credit app with my social security number on it to prove to the bank I was who I was. I reminded him to contact the person I had been dealing with. Reluctantly, I filled out the app and submitted it. A short time after that, I received a notification that someone has run a credit report. I was furious. I immediately called the salesman. He was not available. I then asked to speak to the finance manager. I explained the situation to him and he did not know about it. He assured me that he would check and get back to me. Later that day I received a call from the salesman. I expected that he would know about the credit report being pulled. He did not. I asked him who pulled the credit report. He denied knowing who did. I told him I was very upset that he lied to me and I would not be completing the sale with them. I then asked to speak to the finance manager. I was transferred to the sales manager. When I said I wanted to speak with the finance manager, the sales manager insisted that he would be able to help me. I explained the whole situation to him. He said that he was the one who ran my credit and that he was trying to “help me” and it was not a big deal. He said he was trying to get me into the vehicle. He also stated that he went through their lender contact at my credit union instead of going through my contact person, as I had requested. I feel that this dealership has some very shady business practices and they will do whatever they have to do to make a sale. I would never use or recommend this dealership. More

I first filled out there appraisal tool on their website to get trade in offer. A deal was emailed to me but when I called they would not honortheir online offer. They offered me $7,000 less for my trade in than the deal they emailed me. They did come up a few thousand after I said they weren't even in the ballpark. I was trying to purchase a 2018 F-150 Platinum. I was on the other coast of Florida so I was really having to trust the dealership on the condition of the car. I specifically asked if there was any dents or scratches that they could see before sending it over and they said no there weren't any . They had somebody drive it over after coming to an agreed price. When it arrived I found all kinds of body work that they did not tell me about. It has rips in the seats it has been smoked in there was over spray all over the interior of the engine compartment, the bottom of the hood and inside of the fenders were a completely different color than the rest of the truck, there was wet sanding marks on the rear fender and primer overspray between the cab and bed of the truck . The car had definitely been in for major repairs. They either knew about it and we're trying to hide it and hope I didn't notice or they are incompetent. Severely disappointed after wasting an entire day removing my tonneau cover and other accessories and taking everything out of my trade-in. Not to mention a hit on my credit report. More
Awesome Service and Friendly Dealership I came in with my 1989 C4 Corvette to fix a the spare tire mounting bolt just a few days after I purchased the car on Sept 21st. I did not purchase it from New Smyrna Chevrolet, as these old cars are hard to find. I am new to the area here and do not know any mechanics that are trustworthy in the area. I figured the Dealership was the only place to go. I met Andre' and explained to him what was wrong. He took the time to squeeze me in as it was a busy day there and about 2pm in the afternoon. He also advised me the car was out of alignment, (they checked it right there in the service bay). This was good to know and he advised me that it would be best to leave it, so his top mechanic that works on old classics could do the work on it. I am so glad that I did. The service was great and New Smyrna Chevrolet only did the work required and didn't try to up-sell me on things I didn't need like other dealerships. They garage was really clean where the mechanics work as well as the lobby and the lot. Several people asked me if I was being helped out when I went to pick it up while while Andre' was working with other customers. I will be back in the near future to have all my service work done at New Smyrna Chevrolet. Keep up the good work Andre'! More
