I'm done with Newark Toyota World When we moved to Delaware in 2007 we started bringing our 2002 Prius in for service. The customer service was so good that in 2011 we bought a new Pri When we moved to Delaware in 2007 we started bringing our 2002 Prius in for service. The customer service was so good that in 2011 we bought a new Prius V from this dealer with almost no comparison shopping. But about 2 years ago the dealership was taken over by a new owner. Customer service has declined dramatically. The wait times are now much longer, the respect for customers has gone down, and the bill always comes out higher than I expect. I have given them several chances, figuring everyone has a bad day. But the service has been consistently bad for the last two years and I no longer trust that their recommendations are based on prudent maintenance rather than profit. It's not the customer service agents - they all try really hard, but are constrained by the new operating model. Yesterday, for the first time, I took my Prius to a private auto shop. Newark Toyota World lost my business. More

As a woman shopping for a car can be very frustrating. I am in Sales, I know what I want to spend and I expect great service. I do not want a cheesy sales pitch making me feel inferior about what I am doing on the car lot. I do my research and I just want the truth. We are all eager to make money however, we are all very cautious of where we spend money. Bruce made my experience pleasurable and my car purchase was important to him. I could not be happier with my purchase and the service I have received after I drove away. I will absolutely recommend Bruce and Newark Toyota World to my colleagues. Thanks Again!!!!!! More

Unplanned visit handled with Top Notch customer service!! Made an unplanned, emergency visit this evening 6/27/16 to the service department for a loud, driver side rear banging noise which suddenly began duri Made an unplanned, emergency visit this evening 6/27/16 to the service department for a loud, driver side rear banging noise which suddenly began during a highway trip back from downstate Delaware. Rattled and stressed, I was greeted by Colleen Comsalo. With less than 30 min before closing time, Colleen could have easily said nothing could be done but leave the car for service the next day. Instead, she quickly engaged Marty (the only remaining Tech) who was willing to jump in with me to take a short drive to at least try to identify the issue. Marty immediately heard the noise and wanted to put the car on lift to take a look. He found a tree branch far up in the wheel well (must have inadvertently hit during my trip) which he was able to remove and luckily no damage was found. Colleen and Marty showed the utmost in compassion, professionalism and true customer service!! Can't thank them enough for help when I needed it most!! They were truly outstanding and went above and beyond my expectations!! More
