Brake repair I had purchased a 2013 used Rav4 from Newark Toyota last fall. When I took it in for servicing they informed me that the brakes were so rusted that t I had purchased a 2013 used Rav4 from Newark Toyota last fall. When I took it in for servicing they informed me that the brakes were so rusted that they needed repair and/or replacement. I took the matter up with Bill Chaffee, the customer relations manager, and he assured me that Toyota would help with the cost to repair since the condition probably did not originate with me. Of a $600 total bill, I paid less than $200 for parts. I have always taken my Toyotas to Newark for service and have never been disappointed. Their new service facility makes waiting very comfortable. More

After noticing paint popping on my car the week prior, I stopped in to the service center to ask if my car could be looked at. I was told I had to have an appointment. During my appointment to have the paint issue looked at, my oil was changed and the person who was supposed to authorize my paint popping as a warranty issue, left without looking at my car. I was told I would receive a phone call from the service center to come in again to have the paint looked at when the appropriate people would be there. Still haven't received a phone call to schedule that appointment. More
