Unsatisfied customer sold van full of repairs I bought a used van from David Twigg less than a month ago. I was told when we purchased it that it had been checked in their shop, and that everythin I bought a used van from David Twigg less than a month ago. I was told when we purchased it that it had been checked in their shop, and that everything was good. However, I took the vehicle on a 4 hour trip the week after we bought it, and that is when we started having problems. The oil light came on, and then it started to overheat. We ended up pulling over and adding oil and antifreeze, and the oil light went off. After we returned home, we had to put oil and antifreeze in the van at least once a week. Within three weeks time, I was adding a half gallon of antifreeze every other day. I finally decided to take it to the Toyota dealership in town, and they quoted me for around $2,000 in repairs, which included the water pump, timing belt, a new radiator, and a tune up with new plugs. I immediately called David Twigg because our 30 day warranty was not up for another 3 days. He said that none of the needed repairs where covered under this warranty. I paid $5,000 for this van, and not even a month later I am in need of $2,000 in repairs! I feel like I was lied to about everything checking okay with the van in their shop. I will never buy another vehicle from them, and will give bad reviews to all of my friends and family so that they don't make the same mistake I did. More
