Tell customers anything on the phone to get them there Two weeks ago I went to Newbold after calling about a 2017 Mustang GT convertible that I saw online. The salesman said he would have it cleaned and re Two weeks ago I went to Newbold after calling about a 2017 Mustang GT convertible that I saw online. The salesman said he would have it cleaned and ready to test drive. It is black and it was very dirty when I got there so he forgot the cleaning part. He offered me $3000 less than low trade in value ($8500 low trade in and he offered $5500) for my real clean Mustang Gt convertible. I was upset and left. After I sold that Mustang online and I called him again. He assured me the Mustang will be cleaned and on the phone he said that the price is negotiable. I got there with cash in my pockets from selling my car and I was ready to buy. Once again it was covered with dirt and I could not tell if the body was in good shape. Then I went to talk price and he said it is not negotiable! He would not come down a dollar but to get me there, on the phone he said he would. After driving an hour one way for the second time I left again very upset with the way I was treated. Four hours of wasted time driving! Today I noticed it is still for sale there and it is $1500 less than the firm price, haha! Guess I got the last laugh! I would not recommend this dealership!!! More
