Sometimes even the best make mistakes I called the Service Department a week prior to schedule my car for a DMV required inspection and a "birthday" detailing for my 2017 Escape. When I ar I called the Service Department a week prior to schedule my car for a DMV required inspection and a "birthday" detailing for my 2017 Escape. When I arrived at the dealership on November 1st I was told that getting my car detailed would be impossible because of the usual end of month backup. The Service representative was very apologetic about the mix-up and couldn't understand why the service was scheduled. He further explained that the Detailing operation was not under the control of the Service department so there was little he could do other than ask. We walked over to their building and as feared, the detailers were booked with new sales vehicles for the rest of the week. I believe the people making appointments should be made aware of this situation so that it doesn't happen again to another customer. I have always been satisfied with your service and considering the circumstances was appreciative of how my Service Adviser, Marty Jacobs handled the situation. More
