Very unprofessional dealership We were looking for a leftover Wrangler with certain options, and Newport CDJR had exactly what we were looking for in stock. We arrive at the dealership to take a look at the Jeep and take a test drive. Up to this point it seemed to be a typical dealer experience, and then we went out on the test drive. The Jeep engine seemed to surge when it was in drive and at a stop. You could hear it, and feel it when in the Jeep. We drove back to the dealership to have the Service team look at it, and they rebooted the computer (PCM, ECM, ECU)? We took it back out for a drive and it was fine for a few minutes, and then the surging returned. We went back to the dealership as we didn't have interest in the Jeep in its current condition. Upon returning to the dealership the dealership owner asks if I had ever driven a Wrangler before, as if to say we're the issue not the Jeep. The Jeep ended up needing the ECM flashed to resolve the issue, and we did purchase the Jeep from Newport CDJR as it was a very good price. The overall experience was far less than good, and it would take receiving a free vehicle for us to return there. We will not be returning the Newport CDJR for any reason whether it be for service, parts, sales, etc. We do not recommend this dealer for anything. More

BUYER BEWARE I placed a deposit on a car Saturday with Angela. "The Manager" got finally got back with me Monday after 5:00PM telling me the car was sold Saturday. Angela told me Saturday the sales manager approved the deal and "pulled the keys". They even sent me a credit app today to fill. I told them I could place it on my credit card, wire the money, e-check, whatever they wanted, but I did not want to loose the car. The "manager" told me after they closed today that the car was really sold Saturday. Really? Then why did they send me an app? Angela told me not to worry at noon due to the deposit. Five hours later the "manager" called me. Do not do business with them unless you enjoyed being lied to and jacked around. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General. These are not good people to do business with. More

Worst dealership around After almost 2 weeks of negotiations on a 2016 ram 2500 mega cab I finally I Drove 4 hrs to pick up a truck from them. Was told truck was in mint condition by Charly there Salesmen. They did have pictures of the truck but it was filthy. I was told 1 week ago that the truck was in the detail shop getting Ready for pick up. I get there yesterday to find out that the truck is the biggest piece of xxxx that I ever seen. Loaded with rust underneath, a oil leak and the front bumper and hood looked like a it was hit repeatedly with rocks. Chips all over the place that started to rust. When I pointed it out to Charley he blamed his prep department for not fixing it. Not only was there lack of professionalism unacceptable but the owner didn’t even have the decency to offer me any sort of compensation for taking the trip. Instead he told me he could sell that truck 10 times over. This dealership is the worst dealership I ever dealt with. After 9 hrs of driving and spending 200 dollars I came home with nothing. Very Disappointing Experience My boyfriend and I visited this dealership after seeking a purple jeep while driving by. We went back to discuss numbers two days later and were told that it wasn't for sale. This Manager didn't ask us for our contact information or anything and basically seemed to want us to leave. We left and thought it very strange that only two days prior it was for sale. We visited yesterday hoping to test drive a two door instead. This same manager handed us to a salesperson and told him to bring us to a back lot where there were NO JEEPS!!!! My boyfriend became irate at this point and we went back into the dealership and told the Manager that he was extremely rude to us and we walked out. It was all in all very strange and disappointing. Service Horrible/extremely overpriced/Seek second opinion Pick up my vehicle from service and drove away. Within miles loud grinding noise. Returned to dealership. Went to my mechanic, nothing wrong with differential, found blend door gear grinding. $200 hundred dollar repair to include replacing gear oil in front and rear differentials. Was looking to buy a used Jeep Renegade. They had a 2015 with 4k miles for $24000 Would not negotiate. Told me trade in was less than $500 hundred dollars and if i sold it for more i should work for them. Advertised our trade in with hours had nine calls and sold vehicle for $3500. Purchased new 2016 jeep renegade Limited off island (quirk) for $21000. New vehicle less miles fully loaded for less than a used vehicle buyer beware. . More

Scammed with a faulty car Went there and bought a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and was practically brand new. The screen had some spots on it and I asked the seller - John DeNadal - there what this was and was told with a system update that it would be gone. But low and behold it did nothing. I contacted the seller about this and he still tried to convince us that we needed a system update. We drove 2 hours to buy this car from another state. Paid 32 grand just to get scammed. This was not a professional dealer. We asked for it to be fixed and we got no reply from him. We ended up taking it to our mechanic to fix and only to discover the DVD player wasn't functioning properly as well. This was not anything near to professionalism and even that is giving them too much credit. I would not recommend a liar to anyone and to get scammed in something as expensive as a car is disgusting. If I could leave less than one star on this review I would. Be aware of this dealer and the manager - they are both alike. Future buyers beware. More
