We were traveling from IL. in our 2009 Chevy Traverse & were on day 2 of our driving when our ch Service Dept. were Awesome! They saved our vacation! We were traveling from IL. in our 2009 Chevy Traverse & were on day 2 of our driving when our check engine light came on. We quickly looked up which dealership was the closest & were blessed to be close to Nimnicht. It is Friday afternoon & they tell us they will try to work us in, which they promptly did & our suv had been running down the road & extremely hot. They worked diligently & kept us up to speed with everything they were doing to get us safely back on the road. We were hoping for bad gas so they did a top engine flush but no luck. Then their service guys Ed & Art put in a plug and wire & fixed our check engine light. This also fixed the misfire that was happening at 65 mph. We had taken it to 2 dealerships at home several times that couldn't fix it. We are so beyond pleased with their expertise and service. Then 2 days later Tina called us to make sure we were ok & our Traverse was still running great. We were treated better than family. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone. We were traveling, 2000 miles from home. I had a brand new 2012 Acadia with 3500 miles on it, which stopped dead in traffic. I was able to restart it without difficulty. However, after calling OnStar and new 2012 Acadia with 3500 miles on it, which stopped dead in traffic. I was able to restart it without difficulty. However, after calling OnStar and them running a check, and knowing that I had to drive over 1000 miles home the next day,I had OnStar connect me to the Nimnicht Dealership. They got me right in on a Friday afternoon to check the car. They were very courteous and kept me posted as to their progress. I really appreciated everything they did. I was able to return home feeling better about the safety of travel, just knowing that my car had been thoroughly checked out. Thank-you Gene. More

Envoys' engine iddles rough when cold, Had fuel injectors flush, new plugs and have same problem. Seems the engine mounts are the only problem. Every time I bring in my cars, I'm greeted promptly. They fix exactly what needs to be fixed and tell me when potential maintenance can wait until the next 5000 mile oil change. This makes it a lot better on the wallet when you have a car over 100,000 miles. Only correct the problem that needs addressing now or may need addressing very soon. Some dealerships have you fix everything just because you hit some magic mileage number. I use the same advisor, Steve Elliot and he does a great job of knowing the problem and getting it done fast and right the first time. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, actually I do recommend it to my friends and family. More
I had a complete replacement of a Power Window: Glass, Regulator and Run Channel. I received excellent, knowledgeable service from Jo Ann Munoz. The work was done in a timely manner and the end result was Regulator and Run Channel. I received excellent, knowledgeable service from Jo Ann Munoz. The work was done in a timely manner and the end result was flawless. It even ended up being under the quoted price.... which, admittedly, I thought was a bit high to start with. The dealership set me up with a rental car for one day and the whole experience was relatively hassle-free. I would recommend Nimnicht at The Avenues to anybody. More
