The service was good. My only g CB on plaint is that in order to complete everything recommended I would need to hang around for another 2.5 to 3 hrs. I love the Beetle, but unfortunately my purchase experience could have been better. Jason was very attentive, which was appreciated. The car was given to me with less than a quarter of a tank of gas. I asked if this was an oversight and Jason said that only new cars were sold with a full tank of gas. Maybe this is your policy, but when I spend upwards of $23,000 on a car, I would think that it would come with a full tank of gas. The vehicle also has a faulty driver's side window which we were told about by Donnie when we test drove the vehicle (no problem). However, the sales manager (I don't know his name because he did not feel the need to come discuss the issue with us personally) told Donnie that he would not fix the issue unless we wanted to pay for it (and did not initially offer any price adjustment), which just seems a little ridiculous. After a little back and forth, he did adjust the sales price by $600 so that we could just fix it ourselves at a trusted repair shop. It just seemed like we weren't really valued customers. When we arrived, my girlfriend asked if the Beetle had undergone a thorough mechanical inspection. Jason assured us that all of the vehicles underwent a thorough inspection before being available to sell. Unfortunately, when we were driving home with the new vehicle, the oil light came on. This is just not what a new car owner wants to see an hour after leaving the sales lot. When we pulled over to check the oil, it appeared to be low, and extremely dirty. We called the dealership first thing the next morning (we were attending the Braves game the previous evening) to let Jason know about the oil. He said that the oil had been changed prior to our sale. I took the vehicle into my regular preferred service station and they informed us that the oil was not low, but it was dirty. Also, the oil warning light will not come off, even after the oil change which indicated that there might be a bigger problem. My service station referred us to a known and trusted service station that deals exclusively with imports, so we then took the vehicle there to run a diagnostic. The gentleman told us that it appears that the oil sensor needs to be replaced which is why the light won't come off. He recommended we wait until the next oil change as he will have to empty the oil to change the sensor, so that is another expense/repair that I can look forward to for my "new" vehicle. We called two times the day following the purchase and informed Jason that we urgently wanted to speak to a manager about the issues. We never received a call back from anyone. To be frank, the unprofessionalism, complete lack of attention to detail, and apparent dishonesty of this dealership has been an extreme disappointment to us. I have always wanted a Volkswagon Beetle convertible, and was so excited to finally purchase this car. Unfortunately a great deal of my joy was overshadowed by the negligent and apathetic attitude of the employees. I would not purchase another car at this dealership. Nor will I recommend any others here. More

Because of paying attention to detail and actually listening to my needs or my concern, issue was addressed and my truck is being worked on. Paint coming of for no reason whatsoever is Nissan product issue (very uncommon) and now is covered by warranty. Every case is different but I’m pleased that Nissan handled this issue on professional level. Thankful to to y and Athens Nissan once again. More
