Really Disappointed I would like to provide some constructive feedback to improve future customer service moving forward. Firstly, I would like to acknowledge that Ni I would like to provide some constructive feedback to improve future customer service moving forward. Firstly, I would like to acknowledge that Nissan (by Nissan, I mean Kelly) recognized the inconvenience I dealt with throughout this process from February to July and went out of his way to ensure compensation. I received a brand new strut for no extra cost as well as a radio replacement (again, for free). Kelly's customer service was awesome! He was very professional and empathetic, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about him or his service. Truthfully, I am not happy that I ran over a curb in February and have just now had closure on my service. There's been multiple strut replacements and it took multiple visits to finally get one that wouldn't cause my vehicle to pop every time I turn the wheel, as Nissan was installing used parts that didn't quite agree with my car. Nissan says that when they spoke with my mother (the owner of my vehicle), she was offered both a new and used strut and that she chose a used part. She insists that she would never choose a used part and is quite angry about this entire process. I recognize that this popping was not dangerous, but I would like to feel comfortable driving my vehicle in traffic-dense areas or when I drive long distances to return to my hometown. The tire replacement for this specific service also had a hole in it, so I was refilling my tire every other time I drove. I requested that the tire be checked on my second to last visit and it was not (or if it was, it went unseen), so I had to visit Nissan again to get it fixed. This is not the only time I have dealt with repeated issues like these. I have been left at a shuttle destination for hours though my car's routine service had been done for quite a while, I have had numerous issues with my brakes not being checked as requested (and being told it's "just the weather causing the noise" for an extended amount of time), and I requested twice that my radio knob be repaired and it never was until I started exclusively working with Kelly, who was kind enough to just replace the whole thing for free. I feel as if I am having constant issues with Nissan because I am not being taken seriously. I would like to point out that I recognize and am very appreciative of any compensation made for these inconveniences, such as a free oil change for the time I was left at the Georgia Square Mall for hours or when Kelly provided compensation for this entire process. The service lane employees I have dealt with have always made my experience more bearable and I am certainly grateful for that. However, these issues are consistent and very frustrating. I continue returning to Nissan because I am still under warranty. Because of the majority of my experiences with Nissan, I do not believe I will be purchasing a Nissan car when it is time to replace my own, though I do enjoy my vehicle. I'm really disappointed. Tony Bowers was excellent to deal with and straight forward about the repair. He was not just the service writer he knows his stuff. A repair like this can destroy an interference engine if not done correctly. These guys did the job and the X hasn't skipped a beat. No leaks, no surprises, no shady work just a job well done. Thank you Athens Nissan! A++ service! More
