I purchased my new 2012 Altima 2.5 S from Nissan of Downtown LA today and wanted to report my satisfaction. We agreed on a figure over the phone, so I made an early morning appointment with her. She even volunteered to show up earlier than usual to accomodate for my working schedule. Throughout the process of my vehicle purchase, Mia was incredibly professional and courteous. I only had her over-the-phone promise to rely on, and she did not let me down. There was no argument about the agreed upon price, no bait and switch tactics, etc. Even when there was a miscommunication regarding the price and options I had requested, Mia was sincerely apologetic and was able to resolve everything by offering the options at a heavily discounted price. When I inspected the car I noticed a minor physical/aesthetic flaw on the leather steering wheel, and Mia arranged so that I could get the whole steering wheel replaced at a later date (which was put into writing in the contract.) As promised, everything they told me over the phone was true...the car I wanted was there and the price given was still valid. Once I decided to buy, I was out of there in less than an hour! THANKS TO KURT S for his professionalism and patience (while other dealers were impatient and answ questions short and quickly) so I decided to head down to DT Nissan to look at the car…GREAT experience, I initially dreaded going there and anticipated a RIFFOFF…Honestly NO Buyer’s Remorse here! Submitted an online quote request to Universal City Nissan, Miller Nissan, Santa Monica Nissan and Downtown LA Nissan. DLA was the only one who responded back with a straight quote for $500 under invoi Nissan, Miller Nissan, Santa Monica Nissan and Downtown LA Nissan. DLA was the only one who responded back with a straight quote for $500 under invoice (the going price at the time for Altimas). I could've haggled, but I didn't bother because they were up front with me. I went to the dealership and they pulled the standard tactics of starting out by talking monthly payments and going back and forth to the manager, but when they saw I knew my stuff, they didn't really pull anything on me. There were no xx fees and my warranty salesman was friendly and also knew that I was firm in my resolution not to buy anything extra. A few days after, I noticed I was missing a cargo net. I contacted my salesperson Mia, she mailed it to me. I definitely recommend coming here to buy a new Nissan if you know your stuff. They will respect you and get you out the door with a reasonable price. Will be coming back here when I can afford a GT-R. More
