I called the parts department today and spoke with Billy! He was so polite and asked me what my name was and could he get a contact number if we got disconnected. Got an internet price for the new Pathfinder that was a good deal so decided to go there and checked it out. Test drove the vehicle and loved it. Ron went up and beyond to get the Pathfinder that we wanted, he drove over 140 miles to pick up our vehicle from another dealership. Upon delivery of the vehicle, Ron took the time to show us the ins/outs of our vehicle and made sure all questions were answered. We liked the friendliness and hassle free of this dealership. Great experience! Went to Folsom lake nissan first and received horrible service then decided to go to Elk Grove already knowing what I wanted and had an awesome experience. OMG! Where do I begin? First of all we went to over 10 dealerships knowing that we wanted an SUV!!! We were soooo astonished of how polite and professional Elk Grove Florin was! I purchased a new 2005 Murano at this dealership and have had it serviced, regularly since. Service has been expensive and a few things needed replacing that I did not think should have gone bad on a new car had it serviced, regularly since. Service has been expensive and a few things needed replacing that I did not think should have gone bad on a new car, such as replacing the engine mounts after less than 100,000 miles. However, I could live with all of that. But, how in the xxxx does a 2005 vehicle with 178,000 mile on it, need a new engine. About 6-9 months ago after a routine maintenance, we noticed an oil leak on our diveway. We took the vehicle in for inspection and were told "opps" sorry, mechanic forgot to tighten "something" when it was in last. Down 2-3 quarts of oil. Put new oil in, no charge. Well, a month ago we were in again for a routine maintenance call and we were told that 1) we needed a new cataletic(sp)/ converter for $2500 and oh, by the way we saw metal shavings in your oil and if you want us to check out the engine that will be $400. I spent the $400 and had the engine checked out. They tell me I need a new engine in a vehicle I had in for regular service. I truly believe the mechanics either did something wrong or didn't do something they shoud have done, for this to happen. I am in the market for two new vehicles, and I have always loved Nissan's, however, I will never buy another one again. More
