Buying a brand new car on Christmas Eve from Ron Kostusak has been the best car buying experience I've ever had! He knows his cars and was NOT pressuring at all. With all the variety of packages and options has been the best car buying experience I've ever had! He knows his cars and was NOT pressuring at all. With all the variety of packages and options he showed me, I was able to make an informed buying decision which I ended up purchasing a new 2013 Nissan Altima SV with Convenience Package. He got me into the right car, with the right price and was able to get me a great financing option! I highly recommend Ron and his services and knowledge! More

I did a lot of research on the 2013 cars and SUVs and visited several dealerships to look at vehicles before deciding on the Nissan Altima 3.5 SL. I next did pricing checks via my credit union, Consumers visited several dealerships to look at vehicles before deciding on the Nissan Altima 3.5 SL. I next did pricing checks via my credit union, Consumers Reports, and Edmunds web sites. Although it was not my intention, the info went to Nissan of Elk Grove (and others) and I immediately received an email from Vu Huynh with a price quote. Another dealer also responded with an offer about $600 higher. I visited Vu and test drove the only 3.5 SL in stock. This car was not the color my wife and I desired, so Vu did a check of sister dealers and found the exact car we were looking for at the Nissan dealer in Redding. The next day Vu did a vehicle swap with the Redding dealer and after Nissan of Elk Grove did their thing with the car we did the paperwork. No price haggling whatsoever. The offered price was fair based upon my pricing checks. Although I have always sold my old car myself, my car needed about $4,000 in body work ($2000 to me after insurance). So, just for the heck of it, I asked what I could get for it as a trade-in instead of my having to go through the hassles of getting the body work done and selling the car. I was offered the exact price I had told my wife I would accept; again, no haggling. After about 45 minutes going through paper work with Vu I was handed off to the finance guy who, I must admit, was very good at his job. I ended up financing the Altima through Nissan instead of my credit union as well as purchasing the 5 year prepaid routine maintenance and 7 year extended warranty contracts. I was not pressured into doing this, but I was offered a lower finance rate and another $500 off of the bottom line. It just made good sense to me to do this. Vu took over again and went through the instrumentation and features of our new Altima. We then drove our new car home. I buy a new car every 10 to 12 years, and this purchase was by far the most pleasant. Hopefully, I will be as happy with the service when the Altima needs routine maintenance and repairs. More

I live a good 35 - 40 minute drive from Nissan of Elk Grove, but continue to take my 2010 Altima to them because I trust their desire to take care of my car and the way they take care of it. I was retur Grove, but continue to take my 2010 Altima to them because I trust their desire to take care of my car and the way they take care of it. I was returning from a trip of out state and stopped to take advantage of the free oil change on my way home - on the LAST DAY it was offered. I knew there were several other things that needed to be done to my car due to the mileage and they were able to work me in, in spite of my not actually being scheduled and things being rather hectic. I appreciate being able to work with Cruz. I guess information is probably in the computer, but she makes me feel like she remembers me and remembers my car specifically. I also appreciate the friendliness of the other employees. They take a few minutes to interact with me as a person, not just a customer. More

Buying my car at Elk Grove Nissan is quickly becoming one of the bigger mistakes of my life. Yea, they'll put you in a nice car, but what about the months and years after you buy you car? Good luck! About of the bigger mistakes of my life. Yea, they'll put you in a nice car, but what about the months and years after you buy you car? Good luck! About a month ago, I went in for a recall and was treated like I was stupid. The recall said that it was because the brake light was coming on and staying on. Mine was, so I brought it in. Upon arriving, I was greeted with a snappy, "oh, you're here for that? Is your light even coming on". My thought was, "no, I just drove 15 miles for fun". Then, instead of promptly fixing the recall, which is what should have happened. I mean, let's be real here, a recall is NO fault of the customer, so one would think the dealership would at least try and make things go quickly and smoothly. Nope, after a 3 hour wait, I received a phone call trying to sell me on about half a dozen other "needed" repairs. I declined and my car was ready after an additional hour of waiting. One of the things I was told was that my rear brakes were in need of repair soon. They recommended doing it right then, but I declined and they wrote on the invoice that they recommend it soon, as they were worn down to 3/32, which is low. I thought, "3/32, that is pretty low" so I shopped around and brought my car to a major name car repair place for an oil change and a rear brake replacement. Well they called me after 15 minutes and said the brakes were fine. The front looked almost new and the rear were at 7/32 and I had "tons of time left" on them. Wow! Amazing Nissan! Is that how you run a business? You just make stuff up hoping that people will bite? Thanks for making me spend $20 at the other place for a brake inspection. They don't charge if the brakes are replaced, but since they DID NOT NEED replacing, I was charged. It's ok, I'd rather give them $20 than let Nissan do ANY paid repairs on my car. STAY FAR AWAY folks, this story was NOT exaggerated in any way. Even better, I was emailed a survey about my experience and filled it our expressing my dissatisfaction and have heard nothing after several weeks. Nice one. It takes a lot for me to write a complaint, but when you go digging in MY pockets, things get ugly. More
