My fiancé and I could not find a dealership that would work with his credit score because he did his sister a favor and put a vehicle in his name so she could get to and from work (she does not have would work with his credit score because he did his sister a favor and put a vehicle in his name so she could get to and from work (she does not have credit). So his sister was driving around a new car and he was stuck driving a 1999 Malibu with a bad transmission that was going to give out any day. I had contacted a few dealerships inquiring about getting a used vehicle. But every place I tried told me that even if I co-signed for him, we would still need a down payment of $2,000 or more. By the grace of god, I came across Nissan of Elk Grove and I started chatting online about my Cadillac, which was not running and I was looking to trade in or just flat out sell. I had originally scheduled an appointment to have the car estimated on a Saturday, but after running our credit through other dealerships we both figured we would have no luck in finding a vehicle so we did not follow through. Karen, followed up with me on that afternoon asking if I was still interested in the trade-in and I explained our situation. She somehow worked magic and gave me a call the following day and stated that she thinks she can get us into a brand new car with no down payment because of the rebates Nissan is currently giving out. We immediately jumped at the opportunity. Upon Arrival we were greeted and directed to the internet sales department where we were kindly regarded by Karen. She had a whole list of cars that she said fit into our budget! We were first given the option of buying a Nissan Versa, but that is so not his style. So she went and came out with the keys to a Nissan Sentra, which we both instantly liked! I told her what color I would prefer and that my fiancé could only drive an automatic. She ended up finding us a 2011 Silver Nissan Sentra with only 85 miles on it! It was exactly what we were looking for. When it came down to financing the vehicle, Karen went through leaps and bounds to ensure that her financing department kept our payments around what we requested and found a bank that would finance both of our credit. Long story short, she came out with a $1500 rebate from the dealership and we were able to get a deferred down payment for the other $1000 and drive off with the car the same day! Karen made our first car purchase a breeze and I absolutely adored her because she did not give me the vibe that we were being pressured into purchasing something we did not like. She was warm and friendly; in all honestly, I felt like I’d known her for years and even told my fiancé that she reminded me of my favorite aunt. Then there was Ameena, this woman is extremely kind hearted and I adored her patience in explaining every single detail of our contract. I had gone with my Grandfather, to purchase a vehicle before and we were forced to stand at a counter for over an hour while the man quickly explained how to purchase warranty. I liked that she gave my fiancé and I compliments that she is proud to see a couple like us able to purchase a vehicle at such a young age (We are 22 and 23). I work in the Finance department at a college and I appreciate that she took the extra time to explain not only the cost, but the benefits of having bumper to bumper warranty. She was even able to get us a reduced interest rate which helped lower some of our monthly out-of-pocket warranty costs. I left her office feeling like I had gained some major knowledge. I was even able to reciprocate detailed loan and warranty information to my Grandfather with confidence late that night. One MAJOR thing that stood out to me as SUPERIOR customer service was: I had forgotten my checkbook at home, so to accommodate her customer, Ameena had Karen follow us to our apartment (in Sacramento) so she could pick up the check instead of us having to drive all the way back to Elk Grove. I left the dealership that day feeling as if I had made 2 new friends and made a good choice, instead of feeling overwhelmed that I had just made a huge purchase. Thank You Ladies! More
In 2009, I bought an Infiniti G37x from Todd Ritter at Infiniti of Elk Grove. I called Todd on Saturday, August 13 for advice on buying a truck for my husband's tile business. We weren't sure what to buy and Todd asked us what we thought about test driving a Nissan Titan. He found a 2011 Nissan Titan SL on the lot and brought it up front for us to test drive. We absolutely fell in love with the truck! It had everything you could imagine and more! I wasn't planning on buying a truck that day, but with the rebate, great deal on our trade-in, and interest rate offered there was no way we could say no. And let me just say, there was absolutely NO pressure whatsoever from Todd or anyone at the dealership to buy the truck. He and everyone at Nissan were more than patient with us. And the best part of all was that we only spent two hours at the dealership and we left with a new truck! I will definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends and family. I look forward to dealing with Nissan of Elk Grove for all our truck service needs! Thanks again! More
On July 23, 2011 we came in to the dealer for a scheduled periodic check up. Technician found a nail in our front left tire. We requested tire be patched. Service person wrote it on work order. Tire was plugged by technician instead of patched as we requested. We drove it home. Slow leak in tire became evident when our warning light came up on display panel. We live 45 minutes away from dealer. Tried to have it replugged at reputable chain tire store. They advised holes for plug were made too large for plug to fit correctly. Tire had been ruined (Our Nissan is 7 months old). Had the inconvenience of driving back to Nissan of Elk Grove Dealer as well as compromising our safety by having to drive 45 minutes on the freeway(only way back) on a spare tire (donut). Your service coordinator was helpful and apologetic but that didn't rule out that your service technicians failed to do a competent job. The total time that it took for our car to be serviced(counting time to return to Nissan of Elk Grove for tire replacement) was 6 1/2 hours-That is almost a whole work day. In our case it was a part of our Saturday and then a drive to Nissan of Elk Grove on a Tuesday afternoon to have a new tire put on. We love Nissan cars-Please try to improve the quality and efficiency of service. Salespersons and service reps are great. More
I have already rated this dealership with regards to their service department by the carwash ... now I am rating parts. the same weekend I went in to have my vehicle serviced, I also purchased a bug def their service department by the carwash ... now I am rating parts. the same weekend I went in to have my vehicle serviced, I also purchased a bug deflector. This was just this past weekend. I have had the bug deflector on my vehicle for a total of 4 days. Today, the clamp on the driver's side wing broke off from a car wash dryer. I called Nissan of Elk Grove to find a replacement clamp. I was told they do not have them .. Nissan does not make them .. and basically I am "assed-out" of what I had paid for this deflector and "try to find something else to use" or "buy a new one" .. WOW ... that is all I have to say ... WOW Nissan of Elk Grove ... WOW More

I worked with Karen on line to compare models of cx7i sports and touring .I was also interested in follow up,knowledge and pricing. Karen was really on top of it in all areas.
