I have been going to the Nissan of El Grove for my cars maintenance and repair (when needed) for at least eight years. I respect John for his knowledge, professionalism, care, courteousness, and his sincerity. The job gets down very well. The mechanic’s performance has been excellent; I have never had to re-repair. For these reasons, I much rather drive from Sacramento to Elk Grove and have been doing so for many years. The dealer also provides shuttle service all the way to downtown Sacramento. The Service Center’s waiting room is clean and it provides Internet service, a big screen TV, and beverages. I highly recommend Nissan Elk Grove and John Brooks (Service Advisor). More
The couple things that stuck out from my recent visit with Nissan of Elk Grove. (1) I was surprised that if not covered by warranty, the service and parts would have been cheaper at les schwab even thou with Nissan of Elk Grove. (1) I was surprised that if not covered by warranty, the service and parts would have been cheaper at les schwab even though they were ording the part from Elk Grove Nissan. (2) They found a squeak in my belts on the morning they serviced my vehicle and said that it must be because of the cold weather. The squeak had never been there before, so now I have a truck that squeaks everyday that apparently can never be fixed. They said they checked out all the belts and could find anything. I thought that if it was due to cold weather, would every Nissan sold in cold weather do the same? (3) When I originally called the dealership to get a quote on the part needed (5 minutes after Les Schwab called and got their quote) I was on hold for 5 minutes then told I would get a call back. After 1/2 hour, I called back, still no answer and once I gave entire story of how Les Schwab found out in less than a few minutes, somebody was able to quote me. So although, I have had all my service done on my vehicle at the dealership, I now will have seconds thoughts when I need service done to my truck. Car was clean, detailed and ready to go before we finished the paperwork! They were able to get us financing lower than our own bank rates. We enjoyed the free beverages from the self-serve soda fountain! We will definately take advantage of the lifetime of free car washes from this dealership. Just today when I came in to wash the car, I asked him about turning off my "rotate tires" message. We were forced to buy all new tires since our Murano is an AWD and we had a flat while out of town. The message wasn't applicable since the new tires only have around a 1000 miles on them. His lunch had just been brought to him, so I told him to show me "after" he had lunch. Within a couple minutes he was showing me how to fix the problem, while his lunch got cold. He didn't need to be so prompt, but that's, what he does; always helping, always going above and beyond. More
Of all the dealerships that I've been to this was the first one that was very customer oriented and concerned about the happiness of the customer. It should not take 2 hours to program another key on a newly purchased vehicle. It should have been done at the time of the purchase. To have to come and wait for a key to program and waste a morning is newly purchased vehicle. It should have been done at the time of the purchase. I was recently in to service my vehicle for regular maintenance. I made an appointment a week beforehand, but when I arrived had to wait about 30 minutes before I was assigned a service representative maintenance. I made an appointment a week beforehand, but when I arrived had to wait about 30 minutes before I was assigned a service representative. Ms. Kim Ford was very friendly, polite, and informative. However, I had to call back to find out the status of my vehicle. Granted Ms. Ford was feeling under the weather and had lost her voice, so this may have had something to do with it. Also, it seemed that there were not enough service reps when I dropped off my vehicle, so perhaps they were understaffed that day. She did follow up with me in a timely manner a few days later regarding warranty services for some recommended repairs. Also, about two years ago, I visited your dealership to look at, and possibly purchase a used Nissan Murano. I do not remember the details, only that at the time I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated. About six months later, I did purchase a used Murano, but not from a Nissan dealership. While the overall service I recently received was okay, I chose not to recommend the dealership at this time. I think there is room for improvement. I will be in again to service my vehicle at your dealership. More

I have always dreaded getting my car serviced in the past, even for an oil change, due to the reputation sometimes dealerships have about excellent. I have always dreaded getting my car serviced in the past, even for an oil change, due to the reputation sometimes dealerships have about "ripping people off" especially if you are a female (such as myself). BUT the staff, specifically John Brooks, was sincere, friendly, informative and eager to help. I was very pleased, left very satisfied and with a perfectly serviced vehicle. I received the 90,000+ mile service. The price savings were outstanding as well. I was expecting to spend a lot more. I will definitely bring my car back for all necessary work done. I definitely found a dealership and a representative to trust. Thank you! More
