The overall service was excellent. This is our first new car so we want to make sure it is maintained the proper way but the dealership prices for something so simple as an oil change makes me want to rethi car so we want to make sure it is maintained the proper way but the dealership prices for something so simple as an oil change makes me want to rethink the idea of finding a cheaper service station elsewhere. Luckily we have a few coupons that we've used to keep the cost down but I honestly think $40 for an oil change is OUTRAGEOUS!!! More
This was done at the quick lube area of the Nissan dealership -- I was promptly greeted by the technician when I drove up, but the friendliness from the guy inside at the counter was no longer ther dealership -- I was promptly greeted by the technician when I drove up, but the friendliness from the guy inside at the counter was no longer there. There was a minimum of interaction with customers; not rude, just a blank-faced greeting and nothing else until time to pay. They used to chat a little with people, and used to remember individual things about customers. It is very impersonal now. Maybe they were having a bad day. More

I felt it worth mentioning that I came in for my complementary first oil change for my 2004 Infiniti G35 today and was very impressed with their service. I have to say, there is no experience like being at your dealership. Walking into the service department didn't even feel like it was a service department. You're all very welcoming. I've been to 2 other Nissan dealerships for service before. The first here in Fairfield and the second, which I ended up not leaving my car at, was in Vacaville. And every time I walk into the Fairfield service dept., I feel like I'm walking into someone's body shop. The complete opposite of the feeling I had with you guys. Thank you very much for such a great experience. I'm seriously thinking about coming to you guys for all of my servicing needs. More
In 2007 we purchased 2 vehicles from Nissan of Elk Grove. We had the best service that I have ever received from a dealership. For years I would not go to a car lot because of the treatment. We had not had a car payment in 6 years or more and all 3 of our vehicles were paid off. When we decided to upgrade, my husband suggested we go to Nissan. (We already owned a Nissan truck; Infinity G20; and a Volvo). I am glad that I did. The sales person, Steve was so nice and helpful, what he did not know, he immediately found out for us. When we finally made a decision, the Finance Manager Sonny took over from there and he was fantastic. Not only is he good at what he does, he has a great personality. Needless to say our sale went through without a hitch. I pruchased a 2006 Passat. (Even though it was not a Nissan, I have had the same great service when needed) This was in June 2007 and in September we decided to trade in our Nissan truck for another one and we went back to Nissan of course and the same sales person was available and he and Sonny again performed their magic! We have a great 2005 Nissa Frontier truck. Both of our vehicles are great and everything that Nissan said they would do they did. When we go back for service it is almost amazing the treatment and service that we receive. Everyone in the service department has been great! (John, Mike, Jessica, and all) I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to Nissan of Elk Grove! Thank you Valerie Crawley More
