Very disappointed. Was sold a car that I didn't want. I recently purchased a car from this dealership, from Edgar. Edgar is a nice guy and is probably a good person, but he made a bunch of promises that he couldn't follow through with, which I foolishly trusted in, and now I am stuck with a car that I don't want. I went there (I live in Modesto) to look at a used, maroon colored Chevy Volt that was on the lot back on 12/26/16. When I arrived, the maroon car had not yet arrived on the lot (deception #1 as I was told by Edgar that the car would be there for me to look at). So, I was shown another Volt, a 2014 base model. The maroon car was a 2014 premium model. I was going to be perfectly happy with the white car, except that the base model doesn't come with a rear camera. Edgar convinced me to purchase the white car and then in a few days, when the maroon car came in, I would be able to essentially trade in the white car for the maroon car, paying only the difference in cost of the cars with the additional tax that came with that additional cost. That was the promise. The white car was 14,900 bucks and the maroon car was 15,150 bucks. I figured I would trade in the car for 250 bucks plus the tax on 250 bucks. This is the way Edgar explained this deal to me. I trusted and signed the paperwork and drove the white car home. I kept in contact with Edgar, waiting for word that the Maroon car had arrived on the lot. Finally it did and he told me that it would be ready for me to come get on Monday the 9th of January. He told me this on Saturday the 7th of January. To make sure the car was really there, I checked before leaving work Monday afternoon with Edgar and he informed me that the Maroon car had been sold to an employee at the Volkswagon dealership. Understandably I was upset. I asked why it was sold to someone else when I was promised that car. Edgar then pointed out to me that I had not paid a deposit on the car. Edgar had never once mentioned to me the need to pay a deposit on the car to hold it and he knew that the car was to be held for me. He told me that he knows it was wrong, but that it had not been his decision to sell the car to the Volkswagon guy. Edgar said he would talk to his manager about finding a comparable car to the maroon car to get for me. Edgar told me that this manager would contact me on the 10th of January. On the 10th of January, I asked Edgar when is this manager going to contact me (as it was late afternoon and I had not heard anything) and was told that Edgar was going in to work to fix things. I was never called by this manager. The next day, the 11th of January, I wrote to Edgar of how disappointed I am becoming in this process, but that I would be glad if they would find a comparable car to the Maroon car so that I could trade for it. Then, Edgar told me that another white Volt was in house that I could come in and trade in for. I was happy, as this car seemed like the perfect for me. The price on cargurus was 14,850 bucks and the car had a rear camera and had only 33K miles on it. I thought this would be the solution to my problems. So, that night (the 11th of January), I went in to see this car and trade for it. I was told that the computer listed price was not correct, that it was actually 16,200 bucks, and that I would have to pay taxes on the total amount of the car, making the trade in cost to me $3700!! I have no idea how this car was listed at 16,200 when it was an inferior car to the maroon car which was listed at only 15,150 (a premium version with 33K miles). The white car with a rear camera was a base model with a rear camera and was not a premium version. So, I was expecting to have to pay a little over $250 to trade in for a better car than the white one with the rear camera, and now I was being asked to fork over $3700 dollars instead. As you can guess, I was outraged at this developement and left your dealership completely disgusted. I am now resigned to the fact that I will have to hang onto this car (which is a good car... just that it doesn't have what I wanted in a rear camera), which is not what I wanted. I feel I have been deceived into buying this car. I feel that this dealership has not dealt honorably with me. There was no written agreement for all of this, but I trusted your good man Edgar as he seemed like a trustworthy guy. And I shouldn't have trusted him. I should have walked without buying anything until I had what I wanted. But I trusted Edgar. Therefore, understandably, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Don't go there!!! No One EVER EVER go to the Nissan dealership in Stockton. I have never had such a bad experience. We went there to buy My husbands first car. We were No One EVER EVER go to the Nissan dealership in Stockton. I have never had such a bad experience. We went there to buy My husbands first car. We were excited, I wanted to make sure it would be a good experience and we had looked at all our options. He had actually visited the dealership before to test drive. we spent over 4 hours there. The car was quoted in 3 different advertisements at 3 different prices. We negotiated a price, we only wanted 60 months and nothing above 4%. Then they gave me 14%, Then 9 % and then 8%. Finally we realized that we weren't happy with the terms and wanted to leave to think about it. We get a call this morning that we "magically" got 3.9% and the package we wanted and they would drive it to our home and we could sign the papers. So we rearranged our day, missed events that were planned and they arrived at 3 with the car and paperwork. As My husband is calling the insurance company I began to read all the paperwork and sign. Then I see that the numbers are wrong, they made the car more expensive, they made the maintenance package more expensive and while we did get 3.9% interest rate, it was for 72 months. An extra year of payments. We were livid, do they really think we wouldn't see that xxxx? We called and the guy told us that he had said the new time frame to us this morning over the phone. Why would we agree to that? We actually got a better deal last night!!! The guy quickly found the door! Please don't go there. Why are car dealerships so shady??? When we looked at our credit reports, they ran our credit over a dozen times. More
