The service writer said I would have to replace timing belt to prevent engine from locking up, This is required ever seven years.and your car is well past safety point. The service writer call later to tell me upon inspection they found in addition to the items requested major work was needed to bring the vehicle to be operated safety and new cost would by $4600.00. I told the service writer that I would not authorize any additional work. The vehicle only has 38594 miles.. Wear on the vehicle is determined by use not age. More
