Recall on airbag issue I made an 8:30 am appointment a while back for today (March 14) to have both passenger and driver side airbags to be replaced due to the big Takata (s I made an 8:30 am appointment a while back for today (March 14) to have both passenger and driver side airbags to be replaced due to the big Takata (sp?) recall program. .The letter I received mentioned only the passenger side airbag but the gentleman I made the appointment with said that parts were now in stock to do both sides and he said both would be done on March 14. Everyone I worked with earlier today was excellent...they were informative, on time, etc. However, only the passenger side was done. I have to wonder why the first gentleman was sure that both could be replaced. The man I spoke with today said that Ford's policy might not allow both sides to be done...even if the parts are available. This apparently is not the problem for North Country Ford...they have been an excellent dealership from the day I purchased my current Ford Ranger in 2006. But Ford's policy just forces me to make another appointment somewhere down the road to take care of the driver's side. Again I have nothing but respect for the treatment I have received from North Country.. More

New Car Purchase I was looking for a new car and had decided on either a Ford Escape or a Honda CRV. I drove a Escape and then went to a Hondas dealer and drove a CRV. I got pries from HOnda and then went back to North Country Ford and found Carrie Bellows to discuss a purchase. Not only did she beat the HOnda dealer on the price of the new car she beat them bad n the value of my trade-in bu $1500. Needless to say I bought the Escape and love it. Such a great car. When it came time to pay I dealt with Roger Nelson who handled everything in a very professional manner and explained everything in detal. Great people to wrk with and made my buying experience great. More

The offer they gave me for the Expedition was exactly what I wanted without having to haggle or negotiate. They gave me their best price right from the start because they wanted to be fair and that is what I really respect about the way they do business. Everyone I dealt with from sales to management to finance did their very best to give me the best deal possible and I left with a great new vehicle. I've also had a wonderful relationship with the service department the past 6 years with my Expedition and I will continue with the new car even though I live 45 minutes away.
