Pleasant, but still a dealership I bought my first new car through North Shore Mazda with the help of Jason and George. After shopping around at a five or six other dealerships I end I bought my first new car through North Shore Mazda with the help of Jason and George. After shopping around at a five or six other dealerships I ended up being put in touch with the GM who offered me a stellar deal on the exact car I wanted, offering to get it shipped to the dealership, in what was by far the most relaxed car shopping experience I had. That being said, when I first saw the car I noticed a number of markings on the inside of the door which ended up being permanent damage to the plastic. It isn't a huge deal, but I wasn't informed about it and when I figured it out it was downplayed as something that eventually happens to cars. I don't make a habit of kicking my door open, but hey, I understand the spirit of the statement--I just would have preferred to have my new car be in new car condition when I bought it, or at least have had the situation handled in a more transparent way. My other minor gripe was that there were a few miscommunications as I was passed around, including how much of a down payment I wanted to make and whether I had already paid for certain options which almost resulted in me being double charged. Understandable hiccups in the process. Would I recommend doing business there? Yes, and I have already been telling people I know that are shopping around for cars to check them out. It was a unique car buying experience likely made possible because they apparently don't make commission on sales but rather on positive reviews, which was often mentioned. It was a point they really drove home. Like, a lot of times. Overall, a very pleasant experience that was interrupted by a few incidences that reminded me this was still a car dealership. More

Eric Martiniello picked it up from there helping coordinate the insurance, financing and delivery working through some issues that were outside of ours and their control. Eric was extremely pleasant and responsive, another great person to deal with. Lisa delivered the car spending a good amount of time with me going over the features and setting up my phone etc. Once again another perfect experience. More
