It is not the typical car buying experience in the best way possible. Sales consultant Duarte Bettencourt is extremely helpful and enjoyable to work with. He truly cares about his customers and continues to exceed our expectations every time we speak. We had a last minute request and he made it happen, even going into work early on a Saturday to help out. We can't say enough good things about working with him. We ended up buying a certified used Mazda CX-5 and LOVE it. We are North Shore Mazda customers for life! More

Great Overall Experience I have been driving Ford's/Mercury's since I got my license (over 30 years ago). The 2001 Mercury Sable I drove for 136k miles and it was going to cost $3-4k just to pass inspection. I didn't have the money for that so I went searching for a Sign-and-drive lease. That brought me to Mazda which then brought me to North Shore Mazda. And I can't tell you how happy that happened. The Mazda 3 is a fantastic car! But even before I got to the car, Duarte Bettencourt was great! He met us (my Dad and I) right away, offered us coffee, and didn't waste time with a bunch of "we're going to be best friends now" chit-chat but got right down to business. He was a good listener and had a great sense of humor. And he gave my Dad and I space to talk when we asked for it and waited for us to ask him back into the conversation. This was my first lease and my first foreign car, and Duarte made the transition as painless as possible. Thank you, Duarte. I gave the dealer four stars only because of this, which is not a complaint, although it may sound like one. When I test drove the car, it was riding on Bridgestone Turanza's with alloy wheels. When I picked up the car a few days later, it was sitting on Bridgestone Ecopia's with steel wheels. The reasons this is not a complaint are: 1) the car is listed as coming with steel wheels; 2) the Turanza's are an embarrassment to Bridgestone (I feel); 3) I don't want the worry of denting alloy wheels; and, 4) the Ecopia's are perfect for my family needs right now. I only mention it so that if you do visit the dealership, and I really recommend that you do, and you want those tires and alloy wheels, just double check before leaving the dealership. More
Easiest car purchase experience ever I had done extensive research and had narrowed my choices down to Mazda CX-5 or Subaru Outback. I was replacing a 2007 Outback and had driven new ones I had done extensive research and had narrowed my choices down to Mazda CX-5 or Subaru Outback. I was replacing a 2007 Outback and had driven new ones a few times as service loaners. Nice car but its kind of a "transportation appliance" ; there's nothing sporting or entertaining about driving it. A few weeks ago I encountered someone putting groceries in a CX-5 at Stop and Shop. I asked him about the car and he said he loved it. He also spoke highly of his buying experience at North Shore Mazda. Based on that recommendation I went to North Shore Mazda, even though they are actually a little further away from my home than a competitor is. A test drive in a CX-5 Grand Touring convinced me that it was the car for me. My salesman was Dmitriy Rutman and he was great, very knowledgeable and affable. There was no pressure and he was very quick to reply to my emails and texts. The entire process at North Shore Mazda was painless. Also, I got a much better offer on my high mileage trade in than I was anticipating. I would absolutely recommend North Shore Mazda, Dmitriy, and the CX-5 to anyone. More

I especially appreciated that Dmitrtiy was very respectful of our financial constraints, while also consistently treating us as if we were buying a car twice as expensive. While I don't plan to buy another car for a while, when I do I will be back to North Shore Mazda and Dmitriy. More

Great cars, great service This was my husband and my first dealership stop after our previous car was totalled. We had several other places to check out after, but we came back This was my husband and my first dealership stop after our previous car was totalled. We had several other places to check out after, but we came back to North Shore Mazda because a) the car was a great certified pre-owned and the price was right, and b) the customer service we received was by far the best we have ever experienced at a car dealership. Andrew Mwangi took us for a spin, giving us both the lowdown on the car and good conversation. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he never once made us feel pressured about purchasing. When we left to look at other cars we couldn't stop ourselves from comparing everything to our experience at NSM with Andrew. We ultimately decided to come back and purchase because nothing else could measure up. If you think that the phrase "good car-buying experience" is an oxymoron, go to North Shore Mazda. They will prove you wrong. More
