We were in the market for a new truck to pull a new travel trailer. We have all our maintenance done at Northside. We went in on Friday evening and Mike helped us. He started by asking what we were looking for and drilled down to why we needed an F250. He did mention that F150's have a good towing capacity. We explained that we wanted to buy something over what we needed now incase in a few years if we buy a larger travel tailer the truck can pull it. He asked if we would consider a Certified Pre Owned and explained what that meant. He showed us a 2010 F250 and also some 2013 F250's. We settled on the 2010 and love it. Mike is a good individual and was very helpful. I all the cars I have purchased in the past 35 years I have never had a sales person get so excited. I think he may have been more excited than my husband and I. It was a very good buying experience. Thank you. More
I went to this dealership a couple times. Once with a friend that was looking for a used vehicle. The sales person said he wouldn't even give us a price on a used truck until we were qualified for a loan friend that was looking for a used vehicle. They did the work that I paid for but that was it. I didn't get the feeling that the service writer could care less about what i had to say. I told him about a leak around my sunroof and he made it sound like it was my responsibility to take my truck to the trim guys at his work to get it looked at. Don't they all office under the same roof? The work was done that I asked to be done but that was it, minus the sunroof leak. I have taken my truck to Mcombs Ford West to have much less expensive work done and they asked repeatedly if I was taken care of. I left with a wasted truck, didn't ask for it to be washed it just was, and at no extra charge. I also received a phone call from them to make sure that they performed service to my satisfaction. The only thing I got from North Side Ford was a $600 bill and a solicitation in the mail that North Side wanted to buy my truck and sell me a new one. If they weren't so close to my office, I would have never gone there. I promise you I will never go back. More

He also knew everything about the truck we were buying. (We have been to many dealerships where you can tell all they have done is read the book) I would highly recommend Northisde Ford and Arthur Bryant to anyone looking for a GREAT deal! Hopefully I will be back to buy another vehicle from Arthur Bryant soon! More

I'm a 53 year old man that has bought 17 vehicles in my life. The 2010 Toyota truck I bought from Northside Ford was my last purchase and by far the worst car buying experience I had ever encountered. my life. It's been six months since the ordeal and a week don't go by that I don't get sick over the whole incident. The only good thing is that through it all I like my truck, which is important. Mr. Pelmear called several times and sent several letters to me prior to the day in question. On the day, I walked in at the appointment time and there was no Pelmear. Matter of fact he double booked the time, and I waited 0.5 Hour with a very rude receptionist until he appeared and handed me off to some guy who knew nothing about me and the communications already established. The next 5 hours was misery, I wanted the truck, but was insulted with every smarmy low down used car man trick in the book. He actually changed numbers on the computer after we agreed on the prices, THEN blamed it on a typo and laughed. A 2000 dollar typo!! They refused to tell me my interest rate, only what my monthly payment would be. I asked many times and could not get a straight answer. We agreed on new tires and agreed on the same brand, but they tried to put the cheapest most unsafe tire on my truck! This is just a few of the many dirty tricks that the whole staff had up their sleeves. The truth is, I walked out twice but in the end I was worn down by the whole ordeal. In the end, I enjoy my truck, but am very keen to steer all and any away from NORTHSIDE FORD!! I work at a large employer in the San Antonio area (over 3000 people), and not to be mean, but get great solace from turning people away from NORTHSIDE FORD. I tell them to go to Red Mccombs instead. I believe I've been successful several or more times. HORRIBLE!!!! More

He knows the cars and is able to respond accurately to questions. Chris did not push the expensive models but let us decide what best fit our needs. He has arranged for syncing our phone once a compatible one is purchased and encouraged us to call him anytime we have a question or concern with our new car. He is also going to arrange for a modification to the car that we requested. We feel we received a fair price for the car and that Chris did his best to ensure we got the highest trade-in amount possible. All of the dealership staff that we met were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. More

It was already about 8:30 p.m. Our salesman, Joe Lopez @ NS Ford, showed us the 2013 Ford Fusion and I knew it was the right car for us. It was almost closing time and Joe took us for a test drive. He did not rush us to buy. He even stated “he wanted us to be happy with our purchase”. We are happy to pass out Joe’s business cards to family and friends. Great Job Joe! More
