I initially contacted Northside Ford because they were the only dealers around who had the car that I wanted to consider, a white 2013 Ford Explorer XLT. I was going to trade in my 2005 explorer and of c the only dealers around who had the car that I wanted to consider, a white 2013 Ford Explorer XLT. I was going to trade in my 2005 explorer and of course wanted the best price I could get for it. Well, the car that I wanted had just been sold to another buyer and there was a vehicle at the factory which I could wait for. This did not seem like a very good deal to me, but Charles seemed so caring and wanted to please my wife and I. Well we decided that we could wait a week for the new car to be shipped from the factory, rather than visiting another ford dealer, because of Charles' treatment of us. We initially balked at the price the dealer was going to give us for our car, so we came in with a counteroffer. Our counteroffer was denied but a dealer counteroffer which exceeded ours by $100, took us by surprise. Charles and David had talked it out and felt that was a fair price for our trade-in. Since we had to wait for our vehicle, we started looking at trade-in prices for our old car and found that an additional amount was deemed appropriate by a car buying agency. So we took this new price and went to Northside Ford. We met with Charles and he turned us over to Marc. We had some additional questions on our financing paperwork, which we had already signed, and each of the questions was answered to our satisfaction by a very professional individual named Marc. I then brought up the price we were receiving for our trade-in and Marc brought David in. They talked and accepted our new counteroffer, so that made us extremely happy. The day the vehicle arrived, we were chomping with anticipation. Charles called and told us the vehicle was ready for us and all he needed was for us to show up. We arrived at Northside Ford and the vehicle was primed and ready. Charles professionalism showed again as he ran us through the set up of the vehicle along with all its electronic gadgetry. We were completely satisfied with our experience at Northside Ford. We have never received better treatment from any dealerships in all of our car buying years (I am 68 and my wife is 70 years young). Thank you Northside Ford, Charles Young, Marcelo Marc Canlas, and David Digger Starnes for this wonderful experience, we can now see why you are the top dealer in San Antonio. More

When we got close, Northside literally had the bells and whistles added to our vehicle, in the form of a Touchscreen Navigation, SYNC, and Back-up Cam. (not normally available on lower end 2013 Escape SE models) Their professionalism, no-pressure attitudes, and willingness to take the time to explain EVERYTHING to us made has earned them our repeat business, and I'm telling all my friends. I have been driving Ford trucks for 35 years and can honestly say their track record was perfect....until now. Northside Ford in San Antonio is a joke and I don't see how they are still in business. He sent the salesman to me with his best deal which was $6,000.00 higher than the price posted on the internet. I then got a sales pitch about how my truck was "Certified" (which doesn't mean anything) and would be guaranteed bumper to bumper for 12 months etc. Buyer beware. This is a trick. My truck didn't even make it all the way to my house from the dealership before my "Certified" truck broke down. At that point I had to start dealing with the service department which lost my truck and didn't get to it till the next week. The truck has been back for repairs and it's a fight each and every time. As I am about to make my third payment I have decided that I need to try and get rid of this piece of junk and buy from another dealer that services customer. Please save yourself. Go to a different dealership. I wouldn't wish the "Northside Ford Nightmare" on my worst enemy. Rick Waters More
Shady dealer, tons of adds, went back on a used car deal as well. Was going to purchase a used and a new car. Tons of lies. Telling me a carfax cost $300 for each vehicle. This was by far one of the best car buying experiences we have had. We never felt pressured by Marty, he knew everything about the car we were interested in and was able to get us a better loan than even ou have had. We bought a Escape on Monday and he spent an hour going over all the special features with us to make sure we understood what the car could do. He recommended we return in a couple days and sit down with him again, that the vehicle had so many features he couldn't cover them all at one time without overloading us. That was much appreciated. We got a great deal from them as we did the other 2 times. We will definitely go back to see Charles when it is time to replace our 2001 Ford Windstar. More
