Was told by Finance that the new truck would be under our companies name not in my personal name. They said Chase would finance it under the company name. They also said I had to purchase a 4 year extended w companies name not in my personal name. They said Chase would finance it under the company name. They also said I had to purchase a 4 year extended warranty in order to get it financed under company name for an extra 4K. Come to find out that it was actually financed under my name not the company name. They flat out lied and ripped me off especially about the warranty purchase. Would not return any of my phone calls or emails. After meeting with Chase Bank directly they are now changing the financing the way it should have been done in the first place. Purchasing more vehicles but will not be from NorthSide. More
While at the dealership, I had an okay time buying the car. Nothing blowout/ nothing to write home about. For several months I have visited different dealerships, and on my second visit with Mr. Sandvig I decided to purchase the Ford Explorer. Mr. Sandvig was friendly and very informative. We visited Northside Ford almost 3 months ago and Chris Brand did such a great job of showing us the Edge that we fell in love with it and knew we would be back to buy one. When we returned we had decided Brand did such a great job of showing us the Edge that we fell in love with it and knew we would be back to buy one. When we returned we had decided we were going to buy a used Edge and Chris did a great job of showing us the one on the lot and looking for the other 2 they had listed but were not on the lot. He took the time to really understand what features we wanted and look to see if we could find those features in the used vehicles they had on the lot. His customer service and attention led us to buy a New Vehecle in stead of a used one. I would recomend Chris Brand if you are looking for a vehicle and want good customer service beyond feeling like you are just a number walking through the door, which was our previous exepriene at other dealerships. I contacted several dealers via the internet looking to trade-in a luxury car for a small pick-up truck (used/new) to use during my retirement. I received email responses from several dealerships. Howeve trade-in a luxury car for a small pick-up truck (used/new) to use during my retirement. I received email responses from several dealerships. However, Wayne Alderman, at Northside Ford responded first and followed up with pricing for a new Ford Ranger pick-up which was very interesting. Other dealerships contacted me with nothing new or used meeting my wants/needs. Other Ford dealerships didn't wish to provide pricing, at all. I already knew what my trade-in was worth. So, with the information Wayne had provided and information I had gathered on the net, I traveled to Northside Ford to meet with Wayne to see if we could reach an equitable agreement. I had several other used vehicles to look at in case we did not reach agreement. Wayne had mil car appraised and the offer was within $3.00 of the trade-in value I had reached as acceptable. That, with the incentives Ford was offering for a new car purchase made the decision easy. Also, Wayne didn't run back and forth and we didn't have to haggle back and forth. He had the authority to explore all the different options available and we quickly reached an agreement. In addition to Wayne's warm professional manner, the dealership also go above and beyond to make sure the vehicle is spotless for delivery and makes preparation for beginning a good service relationship after the sale. The entire process was pleasant and I enjoy my new little pick-up to use as a second retirement vehicle. More
