Want to start by saying that the car I bought is very nice and so far no issues, also the sales team went above and beyond by dropping my car. However. The DMV team and subsequently the finance team is pretty bad, mainly the DMV and I'll explain. I got my car on June 4th with a temporary NY plate, the plate expiration was for July 4th, I got a call from Kia telling me that finally my plate arrived on July 24th (very late but ok) I couldn't answer the call and tried reaching them next day 25th as the pictures attached shows but no one answered, I showed myself to the dealer on the 26th but no one knew were the plates where and was told to come back next day while they front desk search for them, I called several times to the number on listed on Google maps on the 27th cause I didn't want to do the drive with expired plates but no one answered till someone from MITSUBISHI NORTH STAR answered and tried to help reaching someone on KIA but was unable and apologized to me several times but recommended I'll do the drive wich I did, 2nd time there and no one could find my plates and no one at DMV was answering, I told the manager that my plate was expired and was told that KIA would cover any tickets given to me due to the expired plates and he took my number. By the way the reason I was calling the number showed on Google maps is because every time I tried calling the office of DMV it would send me directly to voicemail, even the lady from Mitsubishi that tried to help found that weird but no one could reach that office, I was so frustrated that I called their maintenance office cause I was unable to reach anyone on July 25th. 4 days later on July 30th afternoon I get a message from manager Victor telling me they finally got the plates and if I want to pick them up or deliver (no time frame on how fast they will arrive was given) I said I will go next day the 31th to pick it up, sadly due to traffic and I had to work that day as well I have to move the pick up to Saturday the 3rd of August cause I would be outside of the city for a couple of days to wich the manager agreed. On Friday the 2nd of August early morning police tow the car due to the car having an expired plate and being registered to North Star Kia, when I found out in the morning I called Kia and told them I would send an Uber to pick up the plates cause without them I couldn't retrieve the car. I was able to get the car back on the 3rd. After having my plates expired for almost a month, countless calls to North Star Kia that went unanswered and driving twice there were no one knew what was going on or who to call they refuse to cover the tow cost and the ticket (mind you I paid the Uber and I'm not asking for the refund of it) and claims that I bear the responsibility to cover those expenses cause I didn't pick up the plates on July 31th, 26 days after my temporary plate expired. I guess I should have done their job answering my own phone calls and finding my plates on their offices when I was there. More

If I could put zero stars, I would. I was lied to and manipulated by the agent after my car got into an accident. I paid $2700 for them to use glue for the bodywork I needed fixed. When I asked him why he would give me a car back with that quality of work, he said - oh you told me you didn’t care and wouldn’t mind if I fixed it that way. My jaw dropped at the gaslighting. I’m a woman and clearly was manipulated. Now I’m going to the higher ups to get my money back or force them to finish the work, if not, it’s a charge back. I could’ve done the work they produced. On August 28 I brought my car in, as soon as I walked in. I was welcomed by the agent at the desk.
