Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and NYS inspection. I drove home and a few hours later, I had an errand to run. When I returned, I noticed a large oil spot on my driveway. I looked under inspection. I drove home and a few hours later, I had an errand to run. When I returned, I noticed a large oil spot on my driveway. I looked under the vehicle and noticed oil was still dripping. I called Northtown immediately and had the vehicle towed to them. Andrew called about an hour later and told me the oil drain plug had not been completely tightened. He said they checked over the entire vehicle and topped off the oil, but not much oil was needed. He was very apologetic about this and never tried to act like this was not a big deal. It was a big deal and Andrew took it seriously, even pointing out that this incident would be brought up at the manager’s meeting the next day. When I picked up my car, Andrew stated that someone would come out to my house the next day to clean up the oil spill. I could not believe it but sure enough one of their workers was there the next day and did a great job of cleaning up my driveway. Everybody can make a mistake but it’s how they react to it and make it right is what counts, and Andrew and Northtown did just that. More
