O'Meara Ford

We were in need of a new car since our other one car blew an engine. I hate car payments and dealerships and have avoided them for 3 years. However we were in need of a vehicle. I researched the internet for dealers that worked with people with poor to bad credit. O'Meara Ford in Northglenn CO had good reviews a few bad ones and some obvious fake ones. When we got to the lot I was upfront about our credit history, etc and did not want any games. Shawna Coyle was our sales rep and she was awesome. Not pushy and explained how O'Meara works with people with less than perfect credit. After being approved we were shown cars I did not like but was told in our budget. I made the rounds on the lot and did like the Jeeps and especially the very low miles and the cars were still under factory warranty. I think O'Meara only deals with used cars with low miles and still under warranty which is like buying a new car. We selected a Jeep Patriot it is perfect for us, great features, 4x4, small SUV and fits our needs. Pros: Shawna is honest, caring and not pushy and worked well with us even though it was late at night. Car was an excellent condition and several like it to choose from. They did a second detail for us and threw in oil changes. Very few games up front with payments. Jason did make a deal but it almost took us walking out the door. Why???? Cons: I wish they made the deal sooner instead of waiting for us to leave. They have plenty of people traffic from what I saw that day and I don't think they need to go with that strategy. My wife found the finance manager to be rude, pushy and non-engaging. Not what you expect when you make a big purchase item. He did not explain things and that was almost a deal breaker because of his attitude. In any business dealings I look for Honesty, Truthfulness and Trust and Integrity and for the most part O'Meara did this. Please don't waste time with the back and forth sales manager and payment routine and showmanship. Let your sales rep help instead of being a gopher and don't trip over a dollar to save a dime. There is too much competition out there even for people with less then perfect credit. Curt More

We were greeted by a well dressed salesmen Jared Maes who really took time to listen to our needs and our budget desire. We were looking for a specific F150. He searched the entire lot and pulled around the perfect truck! He got us feeling comfortable, made us feel like a "King and Queen" for the day and worked our payments to fit our pre-set monthly budget! I appreciate his hard work and dedication to us. John Sherwood is PHENOMINAL. He went above and beyond his job description to get my wife and I into a car. We recently filed bankruptcy and instead of treating us like a leper like most people.
