I have to say that going to Omeara Ford was by far the most enjoyable experience in car buying that I have ever had! I told my salesman how pleased I was to work with him and he asked that I write this re most enjoyable experience in car buying that I have ever had! I told my salesman how pleased I was to work with him and he asked that I write this review at this site. I was alittle ruluctant at first but after reading some of the awful reviews I decided it was unfair that the only reviews that are written are by angry people. While I was at this dealer the worst part of the process was waiting to get into one of the finance managers office to finalize the paperwork. This was because there were only two guys that did that job available and six of us who had bought a car while I was there. I would reccomend O'meara to family, friends and anyone else looking for a vehicle. Much better dealer than others I have used in the past. More
This is the WORST dealership that I have ever encountered! I saw a vehicle on their web site and emailed them about it. Elisa emailed me back and set-up an appointment for me to see the car. When encountered! I saw a vehicle on their web site and emailed them about it. Elisa emailed me back and set-up an appointment for me to see the car. When I got there no one know who Elisa is, and the car was not there yet. I asked for an 8 cylinder and they sold me a 6 cylinder. When I found out (1 day later) I called the salesman who said he was sorry and he would talk to the sales manager. When I called the sales manager, he said "you bought it, you took delivery of it, you own it!". This guy was a real dirtbag. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH O'MEARA AGAIN! More
Like many other comments on this website, I should have read the reviews on this and other sites before going to this dealer. I spotted a used car on the dealer's website which was type I was looking for read the reviews on this and other sites before going to this dealer. I spotted a used car on the dealer's website which was type I was looking for and near my budget. Within minutes of arriving at the dealership I was able to inspect and take a test drive. Once we were back in the lot I stated my max offer for the car which had to include sales tax and all of their mark-ups past the internet price. I made it clear I was not there to haggle and if they could not meet my price then we could both save time and move on. 45 minutes later and chatting with 2 'sales managers', they barely lowered the price and kept telling me they were attempting to reach their general sales manager for approval of my price. Was told they could not reach the GM, so no hard feelings I left. Was called two days later with another offer, but again did not match what I offered. Was called again the same day and was told it was 'my lucky day' and that they would accept my price. Drove from the DTC to their site in rush hour (i25) traffic. The showed me the offer sheet which was $2500 above my offer. The dealer stated the on-site GM decided not to accept my offer during the time I drove to their site. Of course I walked out and now plan never to return to this dealership. What I did learn was to get their signed offer sheet via fax or email before returning to any dealership. I know there are legit dealers out there! Good luck with your shopping! More
I went to Omeara to buy a new F150. I had been emailing a sales person for a week and gave them what I could afford and wanted to trade. I did my research and was prepaired when I arrived. By the way I w a sales person for a week and gave them what I could afford and wanted to trade. I did my research and was prepaired when I arrived. By the way I would at a motorcycle dealership and have worked in cars dealers for 15 years. I arrived and had to wait 30minutes for my sales person. After a test ride I told him I would like to talk price. We haggled back and forth and came to a very comfortable price. Then a person claiming to be the finance manager came to me and asked how I would be paying for the running boards, I informed him that it was part of the negotiated price of the vehicle. He then asked me how I would be paying the tax's! At this point I was done and wanted my keys for the vehicle I was traiding in. Now the sales manager came to me and asked told me they where sorry and it was a mistake that the tax's where included but the running boards where not and I would have to pay for them. I said ok, I want the truck and I would like to get it. I went to finance and did all the paperwork, signed to contract. When I came out I asked my sales person for my license and he gave it to me. Then the sales manager gal came and asked if I would give them a perfect score on the CSI sheet when contacted, I said no that I could not because I did not like the service they gave me and I would not refure any one to them. They told me they could not sell me a vehicle and tore the contract up and asked me to leave! More
Lies Lies Lies. I went to look for a used car, and explained everything to the salesman working with me. First of all, when you go to their website to look at their cars - you have to put in an em explained everything to the salesman working with me. First of all, when you go to their website to look at their cars - you have to put in an email address and phone number to move forward, then you can look at the cars they have available online. Once you've done this you will receive endless calls from the dealership until you come in. Once I go there the salesman who deals with "Online Sales" found me. I talked about what I could afford, and then he showed me their terrible selection. I told him that they didn't have anything I wanted in my price range and attempted to leave. As I was leaving, John (the salesman) pulls up in a beautiful 2008 Ford Focus and yells "This is IT!" I did get excited because he had actually found a car that I wanted, I asked if it was in my price range and he said "yeah yeah" and we took it for a test drive. I loved the car, and decided I wanted to buy it - that was when they tried barter with me, trying to get me to pay upwards of $16,000!!!! FOR A USED FOCUS! I told him that was out of my price range and attempted to talk him down. Long story long, I got him to 12,000 and bought the car (out of my price range) They gave me such a run around I thought I had gotten a good deal. When I got home, I went back to their website to look at the ad for my car. THERE IT WAS - listed for 10,500 - same VIN number and everything. The next day I called and yelled at them, and insisted on some items that did not come with the car because they had tricked me. They followed through - but I will NEVER visit this dealership again. They made me feel like a fool! More

I went in to purchase a brand new 2011 Ford Escape on xplan. I filled out a Ford finance application which the dealer said they ran. Come to find out they did NOT run the app although they told me I qu xplan. I filled out a Ford finance application which the dealer said they ran. Come to find out they did NOT run the app although they told me I qualified for Teir 1 credit at 1.9%. I was suspicious of this quick turn around and investigated. I only qualified for a 5.9% rate. This is a scam that dealers run with customers - they tell them they are approved for a rate, have you purchase the vehicle then you find out that the rate is several points higher after you have driven the car. In this situation the new car has been driven and the dealer wants you to pay for use of the vehicle if you seek to cancel your purchase. Be vary wary of these sales tactics as it appears Omeara will promise the sun and stars, lure you away from a more honest dealer, and then hit you with a retroactive higher interest rate. Do your home work! If the dealer is promising something that sounds too good to be true it probably is. Omeara also fails to waive as high of a percentage on dealer fees when purchasing through xplan, so shop around. I would recommend Sil Ter Har over Omeara any day. More
Absolutely the worst dealership I have Ever ever dealt with. Unprofessional, Sexist, rude condescending arrogant used car sales men. Long story short I was there helping a friend that got suckered into a with. Unprofessional, Sexist, rude condescending arrogant used car sales men. Long story short I was there helping a friend that got suckered into a used car that at best was worth 14k and ended up with a loan for over 30k. They took advantage of him being a little slow and they knew they could sucker him. 15 days later they call and say he cannot get financed. We take the car back that they sold as is and they say he caused damage that was clearly done previous to his purchase of the vehicle. I mean seriously it would have had to have a new paint job (which obviously did before as we had it looked at by a body shop) It wasnt anything that most could see so he was ok with it and never had intentions of taking it back as he did buy it as is. However some dude with S&P hair (didnt give us a name but I believe this was Joseph) came over and said" So my manager wants to know what happened to Blah blah) And i said that was there when he bought the car. He rudely said oh no i can have my manager come over here, so i said gladly bring him over i would love to chat with him. So his Manager Dewane came over condescending and arrogant as ever and said " so whats the question" lol dude your the one with the question. I said your asking about damage that was there when he bought and of course oh no it wasn't he bought the car and it wasn't like that. Whatever, so i pointed out the facts that the door had been painted previously and some other details that only people with clear vision could see. He asked if i was calling him a liar and i said yes because your lying. He responded as any immature arrogant sexist person would " I don't have to take this I want my money" and walked off. SO i asked for his manager and of course wouldn't you know it at first he would be right with me, then he was upstairs and then oops guess he's not there now" imagine that. They clearly only want to line their pockets and customer service is not their forte nor is being anyone with respect for themselves. I would never recommend them. Another friend of mine took his truck in for service, when he got it back it had a huge grease footprint on his carpet, the hood wasn't latched so while he was driving it popped open, and when he called all they could say was, well i don't know how that could have happened. Liars out the wazoo there and just because I'm a girl they thought they could pull the wool over my eyes. Please DO NOT use this dealership. They will screw you for everything and try to take advantage of anyone anywhere. More
WORST buying experience ever!! Was quoted one price, then later told that they had given me the incorrect price and the actual price was almost $5000 more than the orginal price I was quoted. I told them I w later told that they had given me the incorrect price and the actual price was almost $5000 more than the orginal price I was quoted. I told them I was not interested in that price, so they said they would go ahead and honor the original price quoted. I was excited because I thought they were being honorable! HA! I called my husband to bring the down payment and sign the paperwork, they told him the second price. We finally brought them back down to the original price again. They had just received the car on trade the day before, so agreed that I could bring it back for an oil change and wash/detail. The next day, I went back to have the work done. They kept me sitting in the waiting room for 5 1/2 hours with a 3 year old and a 4 month old (who was recovering from surgery). Never offered me a ride home or a loaner car. Finally told me my car was ready and I went to load my kids in the car, and I pulled out a rock the size of my fist from under the seat. They clearly had not detailed the car. I sent it back 4-yes FOUR-times to have it vacuumed properly (another hour and a half of my itme wasted). When I got home, I realized there was white dog hair on the back of the 3rd row seats that had been folded down. Took it back again the next day and demanded to stand over them and watch to see that they vacuumed the car out. Meanwhile, while we were trying to get the car insured, come to find out they had put the wrong VIN number on all the paperwork. Not just a few numbers mixed up-they had the whole thing wrong! So, my husband had to go back in to re-sign paperwork which they did not have ready when they said they would. Also, in the sale agreement they agreed to replace the windshield which had a small chip in it. When I called to set up the work, they tried to renig and say they were only going to seal the chip. I would NEVER recommend O'Meara and wish I would have done more research on their business practices before making my purchase. As it was, I was in a bind to get a new vehicle and ended up settling for where I bought. More
I filed a complaint with this dealer rater because I had a dissagreement with the service department. We have now reached an agreement that I am satisifed with, and I have no further issues with Omeara Ford a dissagreement with the service department. Brian Bearden was the service manager that helped me resolve this issue and for this I am grateful. More
