Gas flap lock broken Service was booked up for two days so they got car in on 3rd day Friday. Looked at it quick, determined they didn’t have part. I dong know if Touareg are that different from other vw but both gas door latch and the thermostat I did earlier were not in stock and had to be ordered. More

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN SALES confronted I called the sales department and reached David. I explained that I was in the market for a new vehicle. He said he could run a credit application b I called the sales department and reached David. I explained that I was in the market for a new vehicle. He said he could run a credit application by taking my information over the phone. He told me he had a customer coming, but that he would turn it over to his sales manager and call me back before he left that evening. He did not ask me to come in to test drive a car and I know it does't take hours to get approval on an application, so I already felt like I was being put off for some reason. David did not call me back by close. He sent me a message the next morning telling me they were still waiting on Volkswagen. I thought this was a little unusual, but waited a few hours before I called to follow up. A polite staff member confirmed that there was not any application in process and that she could not find me any where in their files. I was annoyed by the fact that David not only lied to me, but played games with my time. I could have used my Saturday morning to give my business to another dealership who actually wanted it. The staff member referred me to Craig, a GM. She must have explained that I was wondering what was going on. Craig started by answering the phone in a disinterested tone and without identifying himself so I had to ask for his name and confirm his title. He seemed bothered.. As I began to explain my experience Craig neither attempted to apologize, nor offer me any assistance. He denied that David had lied to me and would not acknowledge that I had been mistreated. I finally confronted him about how he was handling my call and he got defensive and aggressive. Craig insulted me by rudely accusing me of not giving him a chance to speak. He actually was intentionally not responding to me. I was complaining about the situation, I was not the least bit belligerent. Craig actually yelled at me, said, "thank you" sarcastically and hung the phone up on me. I have visited and made contact with multiple car dealers in the past week. This has been the most unprofessional and rude treatment of any of them. I called back and spoke with another female staff member who was very helpful and assured me that she would have another GM, Justin Travis contact me when he arrived shortly. This was five hours ago and it is obvious that Mr. Travis is also unconcerned with the reputation of his sales department and O'Meara Volkswagen. Absolutely the number one most discourteous and corrupt of them all. There is no doubt that if even the GMs behave in such a manner that customers are surely being ripped off. Emich Volkswagen in Denver were extremely polite and gave me every confidence to lease from them instead. They have more variety and better deals as well. As far as I am concerned O'Meara Volkswagen is operated by pure xxxx. More
Frustrating Brought in my 2018 GTI for a front license plate holder and a recall for a micro switch. In the hour and 30 mins I was there they broke my shifter in the process and needed to order new parts to fix it. That means I get a rental and my car would be ready next day, fine. Next day I go and get my car and Service guy says, “ oh we didn’t need to replace it, we just bent it back.” So you kept my car until 3 the next day to tell me you didn’t replace it?!? Not only was that not replaced, my fluids weren’t checked and the rest of the car must not have been checked either because I ended up getting an exhaust leak?! Opened the hood and there was a bolt and washer just sitting in the hood out of place. how?! Brought the car back Monday morning for them to keep it another full day and fix whatever was wrong. Not once did anyone take ownership of what happened. This is my 4th VW and I or my car, have never been treated so poorly. You don’t expect that from the dealership. I will gladly drive further away to another dealer because I can’t trust your service center. More

Honest Team I contacted the dealer as my brakes were making sounds but they didn’t tell me I needed brakes the last time I was in for service. David talked me through what could’ve caused the issue and said I shouldn’t need new brakes due to the mileage on my car. Came in and it was confirmed which was a relief because you’re never too sure if a dealer would tell you it’s something else so the warranty doesn’t cover it. Professional, courteous crew over there. Tim was great the last two times As well. More
Bad financing experience The sales process was great, the financing left something to be desired. I had to sign a second contract because they did a calculation wrong, which actually was in my favor but still was a little weird. What really got me though is they called me almost a week later saying they didn’t calculate taxes properly and my monthly payment was going to be higher. What kind of business practice is it to call customers a week later and raise their agreed upon monthly payment for a lease? They were also not accurate, They had calculated the taxes correctly which i had to research and pint out to them. Very sloppy and again not a great way to do business. More
