Techs either incompetent or are trying to bring in extra $$$ For the second time, the techs misdiagnosed an issue. First time they tried to tell me a suspension noise was due to air suspension failure...Repair For the second time, the techs misdiagnosed an issue. First time they tried to tell me a suspension noise was due to air suspension failure...Repair cost over $4k. Fortunately I have enough car experience to know this diagnosis didn’t sound correct, and took the Jeep to another service center who replaced linkage bushings for less than $900. Problem solved. This time I had a radiator hose split (which they diagnosed properly), but they said there was also a power steering problem which was going to cost over $2k to fix. The power steering problem was caused by coolant from the radiator hose getting on the serpentine belt, causing the belt not to turn the power steering pump. Once the belt was cleaned, power steering problem solved. The service advisors are friendly and try to keep the customer up to date on repairs, but the diagnosis technicians need to be replaced. More
