Took forever but I understand it depends on when I show up. No one gave me many details when i pulled up about the wait and everything. I didn't have a bad experience by any means! Very disappointed. I called 3 days in advance of my appointment to see if the recall items on my 2015 Jeep was available yet. They told me no, they were still backorde I called 3 days in advance of my appointment to see if the recall items on my 2015 Jeep was available yet. They told me no, they were still backordered. So on the day I go in to have my Service 4-wheel drive light checked out because periodically it would come on and then go off. I was being checked in by Shawn and he says "I don't know why they haven't called you on the recall for your jeep, we have the parts available." What? I just called 3 days ago and magically they are here. Now, did they really repair my jeep concerning the recall? I don't know for sure, they say they did, but I don't trust them. Jeep is going to pay for the repairs. So, I wait quite a while for information on the light. It is absolutely freezing in the waiting area and several of us waiting have to go outside to get warm. After a long time Shawn comes in and presents me with a bill of almost $4,000 to fix my Jeep. No proof of the tests run, if they really did run tests, just present me a bill for that amount of money stating that I needed a rear axel/differential axel. Now this is just for a light that comes on every once in a while. I refuse to get it taken care of because I don't trust them. Every time I go into Olathe Jeep they find several thousand dollars worth of repairs needed each time and I have just over 41,000 miles on it. I hardly drive it anywhere. I asked Shawn how much today would cost me and he said $175, plus you get 10% senior discount. I go up to pay and the bill is $235.00. Wait, what is going on. I did not get the 10% discount and there are costs for shop supplies. I ask her what shop supplies, if Jeep is paying for the recall, why am I paying for shop supplies! Also, if they put testers on my engine, what shop supplies could be used for that? She told me they probably had to use paper towels to wipe their hands with! What! That is so ridiculous! I pay the bill and leave a pissed customer. I take my Jeep to my mechanic and he runs a test and can't find the problem. I show him the papers Olathe Jeep gave me and he said, those codes don't make sense for this problem. So I call another dealer and take my Jeep to them and they run all kinds of tests (I have proof of the tests) and they can't find the problem. They said to come back when the light comes on more regularly, that right now they can't find the problem. The costs of running all those tests? Nothing, not one cent, he said because they couldn't find anything wrong with my Jeep that there would be NO CHARGE. So yes, I am pissed and very unsatisfied with Olathe Jeep. I don't believe them at all. I feel like all they want to do is "find" something wrong to make money. I get a text from the service department wanting to know how I feel about the service I received and Tony Acock has her phone number on there, so I call her...get a message. Soon I receive a text from her stating I needed to text her about my problem. I text quite a bit, but I had a lot to say, so after about 500 texting words I requested her to call me so I could tell her more because it was taking too long to text everything. Did I get a call back, absolutely not. Have I heard anything back, absolutely not. I won't be back because I don't think they really care. More
This service was relatively costly as compared to other options I had available, and in the end I didn’t receive any documentation for the service provided. I mentioned that I have no way to verify the ser options I had available, and in the end I didn’t receive any documentation for the service provided. I mentioned that I have no way to verify the service was even provided, and did not receive a response to my questions. More
Brought my Hellcat in because the passenger door needed adjustment and there are blemishes in the paint on 2 of the wheels. Instead of fixing the door they sprayed lubricant on the hinge which didn’t fix t adjustment and there are blemishes in the paint on 2 of the wheels. Instead of fixing the door they sprayed lubricant on the hinge which didn’t fix the problem. They didn’t even wipe the brake dust off the wheels to look at the blemishes. Just said it was normal wear which it definitely is not. I have an appointment with a different dodge dealer next week and I’ll bet they take care of it. I’ve had problems with this dealership before so it’s my fault for thinking they would be able to handle warranty work. Now I have to miss another days work to go to a competent dealership. More
