I recently purchased a Nissan from Old Orchard and was very pleased – the salesperson, Dario, was incredibly attentive and helped me find the perfect car without any pressure. Not at all impressed. We test drove a car and liked it. I brought in my trade a few days later for them to give me a value. The first thing I was asked was " are you ready to make a deal today?" I told them that I was shopping around and had my choice narrowed down to 3 cars at 3 dealerships, theirs included. At that point things turned sour. They were unwilling to price out my trade and sit down with me to present me with an offer. So I left. I am aware that sometimes they put in the work to make me an offer. (2 hours tops including the test drive) and the deal doesn't go through. But isn't that their JOB!!! Not all deals go through. If a real estate agent did this same thing to their prospective clients, they would be a pretty poor agent. I feel that the same applies to car sales. I would NOT recommend this dealer. More
