This is one of the few dealerships that does not pressure you or run back and forth to the manager to change the price. The original price was very fair and our salesperson showed me things in the car that I you or run back and forth to the manager to change the price. My leasing a 2012 Acura TL was good experience. Nick was courteous, informative, knowledagable, and a pleasure to work with! There were no hassles in the process,he worked very closely with us to get us the courteous, informative, knowledagable, and a pleasure to work with! There were no hassles in the process,he worked very closely with us to get us the exact product we wanted with no price haggeling. Nick was the only person to point out the real features and benefits of buying an Acura, ie...the forgivness plan when returning a car on the back end of a lease and the titanium package on the front end of a lease. This was different than the other Acura dealers who just wanted to sell a car and this was one of the key reason why I leased an Acura vs other car manufacturers. The General Manager and the finance manager were a pleasure to work with and could not be more accomadating in helping with the programs and the purchase of my new lease. Minimal hassle, Natalia was very friendly and hospitable, Nick the asst. manager, very friendly and personable, very knowledgeable and proud of the vehicles they sell. Numbers were reasonable for certified p Nick the asst. manager, very friendly and personable, very knowledgeable and proud of the vehicles they sell. Numbers were reasonable for certified pre-owned with 40k miles. Helped me work with a price within my budget... and I've done my homework before I came in. No dealer tricks, Distinctly told Nick I was not there to waste either of our time. Warren helped me get the best deal with my finance and found me a better interest rate then my credit union, didn't try to force any extra warranties or things I wasn't interested in. It was an all round pleasurable experience. Fulfilled every request when it came down to showing numbers. Only negative was the wait time to find out my finance rate from banks, I know it doesn't take minutes but an hour and a half is a lifetime for someone whose in the waiting room. Dealt with DCH Montclair Acura right before I came to Open Road... The CPOs at DCH were ehh..they drove clumsily for 30k miles and did not have that same luxury quality compared to the TSXs at Open Road... DCH sales person was dealing with 2 other customers when I arrived, AND I called and made an appt. a week before. He just gave me the keys and said go for a ride and passed me off to his manager..talk about salesmanship pfft.. I work in marketing and advertising for 2 years and was in hospitality for 6 years and that is not how you treat a potential buyer or a customer, professionality. Tried to work a deal with the sales manager at DCH but he was condescending and did not take me seriously and shook my hand good-bye within 10 minutes. That's why I went with open road's vehicles. Made an appt. with Nick a week before, and he met with me exactly at my scheduled appt. took the time to try 4 vehicles and helped me clear out my old car and into my TSX. Salesman from DCH was called me 5x as I was closing the deal to my tsx at open road. More

The used car rep was very kind to let us test drive an Black RDX without question. As we drove off the lot, we mentioned a brake squeeling noise but the rep insisted to close the windows and listen "to h Black RDX without question. As we drove off the lot, we mentioned a brake squeeling noise but the rep insisted to close the windows and listen "to how the car really sounds." The noise went away and we dismissed it. He was very knowledgeable about the car and explained all its features, including the navigation system. From here there are repeated, joking questions such as "the car is good right?" and "when do you want to pick up the car?" We step into his cube & then his true colors are revealed. He accesses their Wayne website to show us the price and car fax. (Now he plays dumb since we spoke to him earlier about these stock #s) He insists there were firm prices and couldn't explain the $2000 markup versus other vehicles. (Compared to edmunds, this price was above the dealer certified price.) Even with his manager to his side, he's upset about these websites and dismisses edmunds/kbb values. Anyway they are great for test drives, but don't waste your time after that! Wish we checked their reputation on this site before our visit... More
I went in to purchase a certified used car which I was very interested in. The salesman was nice and showed me all the features of the car but when it came down to the pricing he tried his best to negotia very interested in. The salesman was nice and showed me all the features of the car but when it came down to the pricing he tried his best to negotiate until the manager came and comepletely shut ut out of a deal. The manager debated about the car more than he tried to even budge on the price. He insisted I look for something else rather than try to work something out with me. I went to DCH acura over in montclair and got the same car for significantly less with the certified 100k mile warranty. The manager at open road needs to be fired. More
I was helped by Elvin Diaz who sold me my vehicle. He worked very hard with the Sales Manager to make the deal happen immediately. He was literally assisted by the entire sales group in meeting my needs worked very hard with the Sales Manager to make the deal happen immediately. I stopped in to Open Road Acura to look at potentially buying a new TL. I had a very clean low mileage trade. The young salewoman was very pleasant. She was not the issue. After the used car manager looke buying a new TL. I had a very clean low mileage trade. The young salewoman was very pleasant. She was not the issue. After the used car manager looked at my car, he conferred with the sales person and she gave me a price for my car which was very very low. I know this as I was aware of the Galves value which is the publication a dealership will use to determine used car values. Maybe this was for show, but when he heard what I wanted for my trade, he yelled at the sales person (in his office, I never saw him), " what do you want me to do, I have no where to go". I could hear this as I waited on the showroom floor. Needless to say I did not buy the car there.I bought it elsewhere. The differnce in price ? The dealer I purchased from gave me $700 more for my trade, and sold me the new car for $1000 less ! It pays to shop, but I wouldn't put Open Road on your list if you are looking for a new Acura. Poor, poor, poor customer service. More
I was really not looking forward to buying a new car because of past experiences but Aldo and the managers of this dealership made the whole experience pleasant. Was able to negotiate a very good price because of past experiences but Aldo and the managers of this dealership made the whole experience pleasant. Was able to negotiate a very good price for a 2010 TSX and I am thrilled with the car. Picking up the keys and signing the paperwork was quick and painless. Would recommend this dealer. More
