So disappointed in my experience at this dealership. One would expect exceptional experiences when buying a luxury vehicle. I purchased a "Certified PreOwned" XT6 shortly after thanksgiving of 2021. When i would expect exceptional experiences when buying a luxury vehicle. I purchased a "Certified PreOwned" XT6 shortly after thanksgiving of 2021. When i took delivery the alignment was so far out of wack that i needed to return and wait 3 hours for them to fix it. They also never checked to see that the navigation chip was missing and had to wait 2 weeks for that to get reordered. After the alignment was fixed it was apparent that the whole front brake system was off which was apparent when you attempted to stop the car and it jerked to the left. On top of all that they promised me all weather mats when i purchased the car and I'm still waiting for them. They told the car was bought from them and then turned in because the owner wanted a bigger car. That was a lie, the car was from Michigan and who knows how it ended up in NJ. Then i noticed the car never even had an oil change before it was delivered to me, so that is the "Cerified Pre-owned" Caddy experience? Sad part is i loved the car and it was beautiful. However after all the lies and dishonest actions on behalf of Open Road Cadillac i decided to trade the car in after 3 weeks and buy a brand new car. Lucky this crazy market for used cars worked in my favor and i was able to walk away. NEVER GO TO OPEN ROAD CADILLAC ! I can't imagine any of there dealerships are any better but i cant speak to those. Lesson learned never trust a dealer even a luxury one, i was too trusting and i learned to not be so stupid next time. More

Purchased a 2021 Escalde Sport and could not be more disappointed with this dealership. They delivered the vehicle having had paint work on the passengerside quarter panel with no disclosure as well as disappointed with this dealership. They delivered the vehicle having had paint work on the passengerside quarter panel with no disclosure as well as the rear tailgate scratched beyond belief. It looks as though the emblems had been hacked off with a screw driver....I sent photos to my salesman and requested new emblems. I was not requesting compensation for the damages and was told they will not provide new emblems but I can call there parts dept and order them. Thats a really nice way to treat a customer that just spent 120k with you over some $80 dollar emblems. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership. More
Stay away from “Mike Wadhwa” “Used care Sales Manager” at Open Road Cadillac . He is unprofessional, rude and can not be trusted on any of his statements. His immediate aides are also being trained like h at Open Road Cadillac . He is unprofessional, rude and can not be trusted on any of his statements. His immediate aides are also being trained like him. Always keep your eyes open and get everything in writing. The most shocking for me was that I was given total empty tank of gasoline on my way back home after getting the keys to my car. The young sales man Darryl is honest and helpful but he has limited power. I will not recommend this place to anyone. More
With Open Road Cadillac (ORC), beware of potential bait and switch pricing tactics. My wife and were shopping for a GMC Yukon and found one at ORC listed for $49,500, so we decided to have a look at it. and switch pricing tactics. My wife and were shopping for a GMC Yukon and found one at ORC listed for $49,500, so we decided to have a look at it. The salesman Michael was very courteous and let both my wife and me, who showed up at the dealership a little while after me, take the vehicle for a separate test drives. Michael asked me where I had seen the car originally listed, and I told him Autotrader, but had a hard time finding the listing when I was sitting at his desk despite having seen the listing less than an hour before. When looking through text messages sent to my wife from a couple hours ago, I found the original URL to Autotrader, but that URL was no longer valid. Searching for the car's VIN number on Google, a cached version of the listing on ORC's website revealed that the car was originally listed at $49,500, however, clicking on the search result showed that the price was now $51,900. When I raised the discrepancy with Michael, he claimed that it takes 24 hours for listings on Autotrader to update, and both he and his sales manager agreed to "honor" the original price, as if they were doing me a favor. After failing to agree on a price and walking away, my wife and I continued our search an hour later at home and found a new listing on Autotrader for the same car, now at $51,900. How interesting. The next morning, I look some more only to find that both ORC's website and Autotrader now have the car listed back at $49,500. So, a 24-hour waiting period to update a listing in the year 2021? Considering it changed twice in the span of 18 hours, that's clearly untrue. In a nutshell, if you insist on shopping for a car at ORC, print any listings you find and bring them with you, but do not disclose that you have them. Check the price before you walk in, and then check the price again after you express interest in the vehicle. I would not be surprised if you found that the listing has been changed since the time you stepped through the door. Do not be fooled into negotiating from a weaker starting point or feel like anyone is doing you a favor by honoring the original listing price that was used to lure you in. More
Just purchased a 2019 Subaru Outback. The car was perfect in every way. The salesman Sam was a pleasure to work with. The Finance Department was very easy to deal with no pressure at all. Recommended by open road mini of Morristown for collision service. Service tech decided to disregard what the insurance suggested recommended and attempted to fix the hood instead of replacing it. Not only d service. Service tech decided to disregard what the insurance suggested recommended and attempted to fix the hood instead of replacing it. Not only does the repair look unacceptable but the paint job might as well have been done with a rattle can. There are very bad swirls all over, and it appears as if the old paint was sprayed over. In addition to the hood, the driver door was supposedly replaced with a new one, however there is a scratch about an inch long that is through the clear coat. The door was not put back on correctly and I had to being the car back again for it to be fixed. In addition to the horrible work done, our service rep Thoa, was very unhelpful, unwelcoming and rude, and acted as if helping customers is a chore. We have purchased three mini coopers and a BMW from open road, and we will not be giving them business any longer. More
Unfortunately after giving this dealer time to remedy my issues I am forced to change my once stellar review. I bought a great car from this dealer one that I’ve wanted for a long time. Everyone was very ni issues I am forced to change my once stellar review. I bought a great car from this dealer one that I’ve wanted for a long time. Everyone was very nice and I am having no issues with the car itself! That being said however I am extremely disappointed in the management. After driving test driving the car and going back and forth on numbers, we came to an agreement. After having me sit around for almost 3 hours before finally going in to sign the paperwork I was beyond exhausted and just wanted to go home. Quickly signed everything grabbed my keys and went home. A month later my payment is due and I realize that I was overcharged $550 for the car. My fault I didn’t carefully enough go over the paperwork but still such a shady thing to do. It’s not the money but more the point. After spending about 5 hours in the dealership getting to know my salesman and the manager I felt really comfortable thinking that everything was going to be done properly and games like this wouldn’t be played. I’ve given the dealer ample time to remedy this and they have refused to do so. $550 now cost them their reputation and any chance at selling me a car in the future! The dealer also over rated my front tires so as to pass CPO inspection. I had a separate mechanic measure tread depth and found the tires to be over rated by 2/32nds each! This was done so as not to have to spend the time and money on a new set of front tires... to be fair they did give me a brand new rear set. To bad I was ready to buy my wife a car from them as well. Oh well looks like I’ll be buying my wife a car elsewhere as well as servicing my vehicle with a different dealer. Case in point here... if you want to buy a car here you’ll most likely get a good one. That being said check double check and triple check your paperwork.... They will try to tack on money to the principal of the car as well as other additional nonsense which you don’t need or want to pay for. More
