We have this customer’s signature on the credit risk form which comes straight from Equifax credit bureau; and shows the credit score on the form. It is possible that the customer’s credit score changed, depending on his personal circumstances, after he left our dealership, but we did not misrepresent the facts. The vehicle models we had in our inventory were equipped with more options than this customer was looking for. We made every effort to help him purchase one of the available vehicles. Regretfully, we were unable to secure acceptable financing for this customer. However, since his purchase from another dealership this customer has returned to our service department for a service concern that they were unable to satisfy. Our service department was able to complete the repair without inconveniencing the customer.

This customer had a check in hand from Roadloans.com. Our dealership is not an authorized dealer for Road Loans but is willing to accept their check under certain circumstances. The reason we do not participate in this program is because their fees are erratic. In this instance the loan fee was $2400.00 which the dealer must be responsible to pay. As a value priced dealer, we price our vehicles very competitively. We do not have enough markup in our vehicles to accommodate this outrageous fee. We worked very diligently to get this customer approved by another lender, without the fee, on a new vehicle at a lower interest rate. This customer was receptive to this option but declined in the end. Internet leads are not “free”. The dealership pays a fee to post our value priced inventory on many lead sources. Some sources also sell advertising on their sites to businesses such as roadloans.com. We are unable to control the advertising placed on the web pages that our vehicles appear on. However, we are actively protesting such ads because we are not associated with those companies. We were unable to assist this customer in purchasing the desired vehicle under these circumstances and for this we apologize. We pride ourselves on the honesty and integrity of the dealership and it’s employees.
