Lost oil after service due to oil plug not tightened Had an appointment Saturday 9/14/19 for an oil change for my new Highlander purchased there. Drove other places then to my brother's. After leaving my brother's I drove 2 1/2 hours to our home. During the drive my brother called my husband telling him oil was all over the driveway where I had parked. When I got home my husband checked the drain plug, with oil still leaking out and found the plug very loose. He tightened it and had no more leakage. PLEASE inform your technicians to check the drain plugs before releasing the vehicle! This vehicle is parked in a garage the majority of the time, very questionable if we would have noticed the leak if my brother hadn't called. More
Head light and brake light replacement I took 2.5 hours to replace the two above bulbs. It appears that the my car was parked and then forgotten. Confusing Repair Suggestions The last two times I have gone in for an oil change totally surprising maintenance recommendations have been made at outrageous prices. The Service T The last two times I have gone in for an oil change totally surprising maintenance recommendations have been made at outrageous prices. The Service Tech claims they were mentioned previously in written reports, but they were not. It looked like the tech got my car mixed up with another car and just spewed out a lot of maintenance recommendations to hook me into high bills. I am not getting the colored vehicle status reports on brake pad thickness remaining, wheel alignment status or tire tread depth remaining. Brent Brown Toyota is slipping into just another average dealership greedy to gouge the customer for a lot of money. More
45000 checkup I was told that the oil was ok for another 5000 miles, which I understood. I thought that on such maintenance service appointments the tires wer I was told that the oil was ok for another 5000 miles, which I understood. I thought that on such maintenance service appointments the tires were checked as well as the brakes, along with alignment - - at least that's what happened in all my other 5000 mile checkups. They did rotate the tires. It also indicated that the front brakes were making a noise andI ask them to be checked. Which I am told they did. The service manager even tested the car, with me in it, and ok course the noise was not heard. Paid 95 dollars for a service which I thought should have been part of my promised contract after purchasing the car with 35000 miles. It was to be a normal 5000 mile check up. We have purchased several cars from your business over the years and have found Bob Sanders to be a great car sales man -- always honest. But my recent relationship with the service area has been most disappointing. I realize that I am just one of many, many customers, but I am seriously considering tha,t after Bob Sanders is no longer at the dealership, I will have to think twice about purchasing another car from your business. Perhaps the problem is all a misunderstanding, but, nevertheless, I am disappointed at the treatment particularly after having been a long time customer.. More
