I called about a corvette. I ask the sales person if the car was as described. He replied yes. I told him I didn't want to drive 250 miles round trip if it wasn't. He assured me it was. I told him about what time I would get there. He text later and I told him 35 minutes. When I got there he came out, didn't say a lot either way and handed me the keys. The car wouldn't crank. I had him the keys and told him the battery must be dead. He tried to crank it and it still didn't crank. I guess he didn't believe me. He went to get the starter box. He hooked the box up, and yes he hooked it up correct, I watched. He turned the key over and smoked rolled from under the motor and smelled electrical. He didn't really say anything. And I left. 250 miles for nothing not to mention my time wasted. I called on Monday morning to talk with the sales manager. Only got voice mail and no return call. Horrible customer service. If I had drove and didn't like the car that would be on me. Seems if I had a customer coming in with advance notice, they would have at least made sure it would crank. More
