We purchased both a 2013 Prius III and 2013 Highlander Limited on Sunday, December 23, 2012. We purchased one of our Camrys from Oxmoor Toyota; however, they have performed work/repairs for us on three different Toyotas through the years, so, to us, it made sense to begin our shopping at that dealership. Service at Oxmoor, for us, has been exceptional. The environment was friendly, and we really didn't feel pressured by our salesman, Don Thomas, which for most of us, who would rather take a beating than shop for card, is a definite plus. This is especially to his credit, since it was two days before Christmas, and he was driving to Tennessee after finishing with us, for a family visit. We arrived around 1:00 P.M., and we were the last customers, leaving around 7:00 P.M.! Our salesman, Mr. Thomas, was knowledgeable on most features and operations of the vehicles; however, he was not familiar with the current crash test information regarding the Prius, and therefore unable to provide information. As I stated, though, he didn't rush us, and he did take time with us to drive both vehicles. I do have to say that he didn't have a difficult "sales job" with us. Having happily driven Toyotas since the early '80s, we were pretty certain we would buy another Toyota. We had researched the Prius, and talked with current owners; we are interested in doing what we can for the environment, so owning a Hybrid for our daily city driving and for short trips was important to us. Since we are retired, and hopeful for travel, we decided on the Highlander Limited; we wanted an SUV which could seat 6 passengers, to include children and grandchildren on road trips. The only hassle came, and a long hassle it was, with pricing. We know that Don Thomas was just doing his job, but we don't really believe we got the best "deal" we might have by not shopping at other dealerships, considering we purchased two brand new 2013 vehicles at one time! We know this doesn't happen often; but, we had driven our two vehicles for 15 and 19 years, and plans were made for them with grandchildren. Our experience overall was excellent, but again, we were disappointed that we didn't do better on pricing. We are retired seniors, were buying two days before Christmas, and after six or so hours, we were worn out. We really didn't want to shop around, during the holidays, so we opted for the purchases. After two months, we are extremely happy with both of our purchases, although the Prius is winning out, at this point, as "Most Driven." In addition, we were also a little bothered that the dealership couldn't see their way clear to give us a Kitchen Aid grill; boxes were sitting around from an earlier promotion on "used" cars. Imagine, we just bought two NEW high-end Toyotas, and a grill was too much for a giveaway!!!! Really, how often does a customer purchase two new vehicles at the same time??? Instead, we ended up with what was the current giveaway... a used (taken from the showroom because there were no new ones left), flocked Christmas tree, pieces of which our granddaughter is still cleaning from our Camry because we hauled it without a box! We do want to mention that a gentleman, named Richard Edmonson, stepped in to help us before we left that evening. He wasn't happy with the clean up effort of the new vehicles, and promised they would be ready the next day for pick up. Yikes! Christmas Eve, but that is when we made two trips back to Oxmoor Toyota. Mr. Edmonson was so accommodating and friendly, and was an amazing representative for the Oxmoor dealership (they all aim to please); he was so insistent that we leave as happy customers! Speaking of happy customers, seems like someone from the Oxmoor dealership might want to make things right, and give us a call to come back and pick up a grill! More

I have bought over 13 new cars in 30 years all over this country being in the US Navy for 30 years and this was by far the Best experience I have ever had in buying new car. Tyrone Cottrell was my car sale country being in the US Navy for 30 years and this was by far the Best experience I have ever had in buying new car. Tyrone Cottrell was my car salesman and he was outstanding as well as very professional and a pleasure to deal with...... Also Lauren Waldman the finance manager was outstanding, very professional and thourgh. She was able to get me a very good finance rate on my new truck. I was looking for a dependable used vehicle after being in a very bad accident. Cory did a great job. I told him what I needed and my price range. Cory was a pleasure to work with. He was efficient, friendly, and thorough. I left some personal belongings in my trade-in, and he found them and set them aside for me to pick up the next day, which wa friendly, and thorough. He didn't haggle back and forth with us on price, he just gave us the bottom line and let us decide whether that worked for us or not. About 6 months ago I wrote a long review about this same dealer on a 2005 Mariner that we bought and the week long run around that truned into a 2 month long run around well with in 6 months of having the M dealer on a 2005 Mariner that we bought and the week long run around that truned into a 2 month long run around well with in 6 months of having the Mariner the transmission went out, steering and other items. The warrenty compainy that Toyota put us with refused to do anything. It became a huge mess! We have twin boys one having a disiblity and could not afford the expenses that the car was giving and a warranty that we paid for that wouldn't cover anything. My husband got in contact with Tyrone Cottrell, Steve Whittaker and Donnie Nelson to try and resolve this problem. Steve Whittaker worked tirelessly to get the warranty company to do the right and couldn't get them to budge so he was able to get us our money back that we paid for that warranty and while Steve Whittaker was working on that end Tyrone Cottrell was working hard to make sure things would be right between us and Toyota and he did it. Tyrone Cottrell was able to put us into a new 2013 Toyota Corola and Donnie Nelson worked even harder to make sure we got the best deal possible on the car and made sure it had better warranty's with it. In less then 24hrs my husband decided he wanted me to drive somthing a little nicer so Tyrone Cottrell and Donnie Nelson bent over backwards to make it happen and Steve Wittaker went a step further for us by fighting to get the best interest rate we could and adding another free year of service. My husband and I are very very happy we have a new car that only has 10 miles on it that is protected, get's great gas miliage, big enough for our 2 year old twins car seats and still has room in the back for a third person if needed and is very nice to drive, speically going from and SUV to a car! I have to say Oxmoor Toyota has won us back with there hard work in making things right after a long long bad experince. Tryone Cottrell, Steve Whittaker, Donnie Nelson will now have PERMINATE CUSTOMERS! Tryonne Cottrell will be the ONLY sale's person we will ever deal with and Donnie Nelson and Steve Whittaker the ONLY people in finance that we will deal with. We are so greatful with how Tryone Cottrell stayed with us every step of the way from the beging trying to clean up another person's mess and helping us with our new GREAT car that I have to make him some chocolate chip cookies. He had nothing to do with it, nor should he get any credit.The initial fuigures that were quoted to me as trade in and monthly payments were so far from reality I almost walked out. Finally, after challenging the information presented to me, they produced figures that were more realistic. But, they almost lost me as a customer early in the discussion. Once we arrived at an agreement on sales price and trade in, the experience was excellent. Tyrone did an excellent job of assuring all the needs and questions were taken care of. More
